Live with Kelly and Mark is back with a week of new shows. The first host chat of the week featured Mark Consuelos and Kelly Ripa sharing their weekend activities.
The long-time married couple has been going to Palm Springs on the weekends, but this weekend was different than the last few weekends.
Mark usually goes away for a long weekend to visit his beloved soccer team in Italy, Campobasso Fc, but this weekend was different.
Kelly began to share about her decadent weekend, which included a fashion show and rich foods at brunch when Mark admitted how he felt alone in NYC.
Kelly visited Savannah College of Art and Design (Scad) with her niece and shared photos about the fun weekend without Mark on Instagram.
Kelly shared a photo that Paula Wallace, the President of Scad, took on her Instagram Story.
Kelly Ripa shared a photo of herself at a fashion show.

Every Wednesday, the dynamic talk show host treats her fans to a new episode of Season 2 of her highly anticipated podcast.
On a recent Let’s Talk Off Camera with Kelly Ripa podcast episode titled David Duchovny: Why Don’t You Love Me?, Kelly spoke up about her anxiety.
Kelly has admitted to going to therapy with her husband, Mark Consuelos, to work out issues in the past and is not shy about her anxiety diagnosis.
Before David Duchovny entered the chat, Kelly and her producers, Albert Bianchini, and Jan Schillay, were chatting about the weight loss drug Mounjaro and the reports about increased anxiety when someone takes it.
The Daily Mail has reported that usage of weight loss drugs can cause a personality change that can increase anxiety and depression.

Live Kelly Ripa Often Pretends To Clash With A Producer
Michael Gelman, a producer on the ABC morning talk show is often targeted by the livewire host. In fact, she mostly just jokes about him, but genuine irritation sometimes shows. Exclusive: It’s officially been one year of Live with Kelly and Mark.
“I have to say it’s probably the fastest year of my life,” Consuelos told Deadline ahead of his April 17 anniversary of becoming the full time co-host to his wife, Kelly Ripa.
If someone had told Consuelos and Ripa one year ago they’d consider themselves a co-hosting match made in heaven, they likely wouldn’t have believed it. In fact, Ripa admits she was “staunchly against” the idea of having her husband by her side each morning on air.
“I just felt like we’re not that interesting, and we’re not a very controversial couple. We don’t really get up to much. I always liken us to watching paint dry,” she said.
But, eventually, she was convinced. After all, Consuelos had already guest co-hosted with her about 100 times over the years, and it had always worked well.

Kelly Ripa and her husband, Mark Consuelos, were looking forward to a much-needed quiet weekend at home before this week’s Live with Kely and Mark shows.
The couple has completed two whirlwind months going from Las Vegas to London to Hollywood for the Academy Awards.
After a good rest over the weekend, Kelly was ready for the week to start with a live show, but things did not go as smoothly as she would have liked them to.
The production crew was less well-rested than Kelly and Mark and seemed to get in trouble after a couple of screw-ups.
Kelly is a professional at her job, having worked in television for decades, and has no patience for repeated mistakes.
She is not afraid to speak her mind when things go wrong, even daring to shush her producer, Michael Gelman, if he deserves it.

Live with Kelly and Mark is slowly becoming the I Stumped Mark show in between the sports talk that seems to happen daily.
Mark Consuelos’ trivia segment is a fan favorite, and everyone loves Mark’s energy, whether he is winning or losing.
The game used to be their regular travel trivia, but when Mark joined the show permanently, it morphed into Stump Mark, and he hates losing and giving away t-shirts and mugs.
The game’s premise is simple: the contestant has two statements, one a truth and one a lie, and Mark has to guess which is which. If he guesses right, he wins. He loves winning so much that he is gleeful.
It is such a favorite amongst the fans that even guests get into the act. Last fall, Jane Krakowski stumped Mark and won an I Stumped Mark t-shirt.

If the contestant wins, they get a mug, then they play for a trip or a consolation prize if they cannot answer the question. Usually, the show calls the contestants from wherever they live, and the game continues.

Kelly Ripa believes the new opening for her and her husband Mark Consuelos‘ new season on Live is “weird.” When the sequences premiered earlier this month, it showcased the couple getting ready for the day. As they both spit out their toothpaste in the sink, their reflection in the mirror shows them fully suited, out of their PJs, and ready to tackle the day. However, on the September 26 episode, (as noted by Decider), Ripa revealed her gripes with the opening to executive producer Michael Gelman. “I noticed something backstage. We were waiting to go on,” she said as the show began. “Does anybody else think it’s weird that we start the show with the opening and Mark and I are spitting into a sink?” When Gelman remarked that it’s “real,” Ripa retorted how “really real” it is, the way they “spin around” and instantly “all dressed up.” When...

For more than 22 years, Kelly Ripa has had a few “TV husbands” — but today, her real-life husband, Mark Consuelos, becomes her official co-host on “Live.”
Ripa and Consuelos have been married for nearly 27 years, and have worked together for their entire relationship. But they never planned for it to be that way.
The couple first met in the ’90s on the soap opera “All My Children.” From the day Ripa became co-host of “Live With Regis and Kelly” in 2001, Consuelos would appear on the talk show, whether it be as a guest co-host or for a Valentine’s Day special, and America has watched their three now-adult children grow up on television. They have acted together on each other’s shows, playing lovers on the sitcom “Hope & Faith” and the CW’s “Riverdale.” And they run their own production company together, Milojo, which takes after the first two letters...

Ryan Seacrest's time on "Live With Kelly and Ryan" has come to an end. The host said an emotional goodbye during the April 14 episode, tearing up while watching a montage of clips from his time on the show. "It's not lost on me how fortunate I am to have held this seat for the last six years," he said to his cohost, Kelly Ripa. "I've spent my entire career talking . . . but today it's hard to put into words how deeply I've appreciated being here and being with you, being invited into your homes every day. I'm honored to be part of this family."
Ripa also honored her cohost in the episode. "From the bottom of my heart, from the bottom of all our hearts, we just want to thank you for being an original, authentic addition to this show," she told him. "You are forever our family.

Kelly Ripa first appeared on morning TV when she was a soap star on “All My Children.” At that time, she was being booked as a guest on “Live With Regis & Kathie Lee” by a young executive producer, Michael Gelman, who eventually helped cast her in a lead role, replacing Kathie Lee Gifford in 2001 to co-host with Regis Philbin.
More than 22 years later, Ripa and Gelman are still working together every day on “Live!” which has continued on as one of the greatest successes in television history, currently reigning as the top daytime talk show in syndication.
“She had that ‘wow factor’ as a guest,” Gelman tells Variety, reminiscing on when he first met a 20-something Ripa in the ’90s.
Gelman attributes much of the show’s success to Ripa’s relatability and keen understanding of the talk show format, which she has mastered for over two decades. “She feels like she’s your friend,...

When Ryan Seacrest announced he’d be leaving “Live! With Kelly and Ryan,” at least three people were very concerned: Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos’ children.
Ripa and Consuelos’ two adult sons and daughter have grown up in front of America. They’ve also grown up with Seacrest, who Ripa jokes is known as “Uncle Cool” in their household.
Seacrest and Ripa have shared six years together as co-hosts on their top-rated show, but they’re relationship started long before that. The duo are such close friends that Seacrest has attended graduation ceremonies for the Ripa-Consuelos kids, and he regularly texts Consuelos for advice on everything from fashion to investing. In fact, Seacrest says he would have never considered moving across the country for “Live!” had it not been for Ripa.
Over their 20 years of friendship, Seacrest had pitched Ripa on the idea of hosting a show together in Los Angeles,...

"We are proud of the work done on the series and the opportunity to work with great partners," a representative for Prime told Variety.
Showrunner Emilia di Girolamo, who departed the series at the end of the first season, addressed the cancellation on Instagram.
"Thank you for all the overwhelming messages about 'Three Pines.' I know there's a lot of disappointment that the show won't be returning and I'm sad for the wonderful cast, crew and fans," she wrote.

After a years-long pandemic hiatus, Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest are heading to Los Angeles and will be back at the Oscars this year.
The “Live With Kelly and Ryan” hosts are returning to the Academy Awards for their “After Oscar Show” — a tradition that the New York-based talk show has held for years, bringing the duo to the Dolby Theater to produce their show from the Oscars stage the morning after the biggest night in Hollywood.
The special episode — which will air the day after the Oscars on Monday, March 13, at 9 a.m. — has had to take place remotely for the past few years, given tight pandemic protocols at award shows. This year, Ripa and Seacrest will be in extremely close quarters with the biggest stars of the night, conducting interviews backstage at the Dolby with the first spot, as winners and presenters exit the stage with the golden statues in hand.

The Halloween talk-show tradition continued on Monday as the broadcast network morning and daytime hosts donned pop-culture-inspired ensembles.
The hosts of NBC’s Today, the syndicated Live With Kelly and Ryan and ABC’s The View all dressed up for the holiday, with movie and TV show characters and popular musicians among the inspirations.
Still, not every show that traditionally participates in the festivities went all out this year. ABC’s Good Morning America, which skipped dressing up for the holiday in 2020 as the Covid-19 pandemic continued ahead of a high-stakes presidential election, saw its hosts once again mostly pass on dressing up. The show, which featured live interviews with Friends star Matthew Perry and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever director Ryan Coogler and actress Danai Gurira, instead celebrated the holiday by showing off some last-minute costume ideas and with a candy cooking contest...

“I don’t want to feel like I’m slamming anyone or that I’m being disrespectful. Kelly Ripa has had enough of this hairy situation. Every morning, the daytime talk-show host shares details of her life with co-host Ryan Seacrest on Live With Kelly and Ryan. Her candor makes many viewers at home feel like they have a strong connection or even a friendship with the morning show veteran. But during the Feb. 9 episode, Kelly acknowledged that maybe some fans feel a bit too familiar. "Do people weigh in on your hair?" she asked Ryan. "People weigh in on my hair in a way where it is like, 'Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't ask you whether or not you liked my hair cut.'" Executive producer Michael Gelman quickly added that people write...

Novelist Laurie Gelman got an unfortunate surprise on her birthday this year. On Thursday, April 8, Michael Gelman, her husband and the executive producer of Live With Kelly and Ryan, took to Instagram to share a health update about Laurie, who broke her pelvis earlier this month during a ski accident on a trip to Park City, Utah. In Michael's carousel of photos, Laurie can be seen getting strapped into a stretcher on the mountain, resting in a hospital bed and sitting in a wheelchair while holding crutches. "@lauriegelman health update," Michael captioned it. "Safely recovering after breaking her pelvis in a freak ski accident at Park City. Feeling better every day....

For the first time ever, “Live With Kelly and Ryan” has been the No. 1 daytime talk show among women 25-54 for 52 straight weeks. That includes both network and syndicated daytime talk shows, and counts all 33 seasons and various hosting iterations of what was once “Live With Regis and Kathie Lee.”
It also includes 12 weeks of ties, but at least somebody’s had a good year.
As you might expect, “Live With Kelly and Ryan” is this season’s top daytime talk show in that key demo, averaging a 0.8 rating according to Nielsen’s Live + Same Day metric. Runner-up “Dr. Phil” is currently averaging a 0.7 rating in the 2020-21 television season.
Season-to-date, “Live” is also No. 1 in syndication in total viewers and households — the first time the former “Live With Kelly and Michael” and “Live With Regis and Kelly” can say that too in its entire history.
