Hollywoodnews.com: The schedule for this year’s Toronto International Film Festival just became top-heavy with anticipated pedigree films that aspire to be in the Best Picture race for 2010.
Tiff organizers released the next wave of Gala and Special Presentation films for this year’s fest, which runs Sept. 9-19. In the process, they confirmed a few titles that were rumored to be heading to Canada and also unveiled a handful of surprise titles that suddenly makes this year’s fest a must-attend event.
Danny Boyle’s “127 Hours,” Clint Eastwood’s “Hereafter,” Casey Affleck’s “I’m Still Here” and Matt Reeves’ “Let Me In” are just a few of the heavy hitters added to the fest’s Special Presentations section. “Last Night,” by Massy Tadjedin, was selected as the festival’s closing night film. It stars Keira Knightley, Eva Mendes, Sam Worthington and Guillaume Canet...
