Keeping tabs on the multitude of mutants brought to the big screen in the X-Men films is not an easy task.
One solution is to use the Cerebro tracker, a version of the machine deployed by Professor Charles Xavier in the comics and movies to detect and locate those with superhuman abilities.
The tracker is an interactive mutant database included on the Blu-ray of X-Men: First Class, which is released in the UK on Monday, October 31. It offers a fun and informative way of finding many of the characters seen in the franchise's five films to date.
Twentieth Century Fox has now unveiled a teaser video (see below; and also in our video channel on the right) for this Blu-ray bonus feature.
Once activated, you see the world as though using Xavier's machine and can click on any mutants you spot to trigger a montage of some of their movie...

When we first heard that the reboot of the X-Men film franchise was being set in the 1960s, there was a lot of head scratching going on. But once you stopped to consider the ages of the characters, a lot of it began to make sense. Of course, the first thing you need to do is totally forget about the source material. There are just too many elements that have been radically changed from the comics that it would just hurt your head. Instead, focus on the film as a prequel to a trilogy that more often than not has done a fabulous job adapting the merry mutants to the silver screen.

For all intents and purposes, X-Men: First Class is a reboot. Sure, they claim its a prequel, but other than a previously reported cameo, none of the original cast returns for this one. And if First Class makes enough money, you can bet this will be the primary X-Men franchise. Because of this, a whole slew of never before seen mutants are joining the team, and Tmp is here to give you the lowdown on all of them.
