Prime Video has greenlit the Spanish Original films ‘Your Fault and Our Fault’, following the success of ‘My Fault’, which launched on Prime Video on 8th June. The film, based on Mercedes Ron’s best-selling Culpables book trilogy, was in the Top 10 most watched titles in over 190 countries, including U.S., UK, Australia, India, Argentina, and France.

Prime Video has revealed its top traveling non-English local originals in the history of the service, with Spanish YA romance “My Fault” and French crime thriller “Medellín” topping the list.
Both are feature films that launched in the last two weeks across Prime Video’s footprint in 240 countries around the world. Interestingly, both titles have more than 75% of their viewership coming from outside their country of origin, though Prime Video hasn’t disclosed any further metrics related to ratings or impressions. Of the list (available in full below), 60% are movies and 40% are TV series.

How often do you come across a film that gives you the hope of enjoying a guilty pleasure-watch but ends up being the most frustrating two hours of your life? Culpa mia, loosely translated to My Fault, is a Spanish Prime Video original written and directed by Domingo González and adapted from Mercedes Ron’s novel of the same name. Culpa mia is all about a tale of forbidden love gone wrong in its entirety.
The movie begins with Noah and her mother, Rafaella, moving in with her newly rich husband, William Leister, uprooting the young 17-year-old’s life as she sulks over the idea of meeting new people. Just by how it begins you already know that this is what it’s all about: a lot of music that requires pills to be able to enjoy it, car races, bands and a pinch of class struggle to, all mixed with a very badass sauce, come up with this film designed only and exclusively for young people.
Poor quality in the dialogues and situations… good editing, though. Characters that go nowhere, a story that could have been spared…...
