He is best known for his work on the series Eight Is Enough (1977-1981), Northern Exposure (1990-1992), and Dynasty (1982-1983) as well as a great many guest starring roles. For 15 years, Grant has been the host of the NW travel show, "Northwest Backroads" . He also makes his living as a voice-over artist.
