Hossein Snr’s scores were signed under his pseudonym André Gosselain. Robert Hossein was born in Paris on 30 December, 1927. He trained at the Cours Simon theatre school and made his first steps on the stage of the Theâtre du Grand Guignol in Pigalle where he worked both as director and actor.
