Norman Grabowski was born on February 5, 1933 to Anthony & Mary
Grabowski in Irvington, New Jersey, as Norman David Grabowski. He was
an actor, best known for his roles in Blackbeard's Ghost (1968), The
Towering Inferno (1974), Hooper (1978) and The Cannonball Run (1981).
He died on October 12, 2012 in Cassville, Missouri.
In addition to being an actor, he was also known as an
award-winning custom car designer. His hot rods and street rods were
well known and respected in the industry and commanded top prices.
Creator of the 'T-Bucket' and the 'Lightening Bug'.
Was featured in "Life" Magazine, "Hot Rod" Magazine and "Street Rodder".
Once built a Chevy-powered hot rod out of a 1924 Ford Model T; a car that was later modified into the titular 1928 Porter of the series My Mother the Car (1965).
