Following up his award winning debut feature, Trampoline, cameras have started rolling on director Tom Ryan's latest indie feature, Twice Shy, a comedy/drama about a young couple who set off on a trip to London after an unplanned pregnancy disrupts their lives. Taking in locations in both Ireland and England, the first stop for the production is Ryan’s home town of Nenagh, Co. Tipperary (much of Trampoline was shot there), where they will spend the next filming in and around the surrounding area, including Lough Derg, which was the first location to be filmed at. The team behind the movie, including London based producer, Fionn Greger, are also pleased to announce two more cast members, with Paul Ronan (Love/Hate) and Gemma-Leah Devereaux (Casualty) joining leads Murray Corcoran and Iseult Casey.

A new name has come up as a possible candidate for the leading role of Kara Zor-El in CBS’s Supergirl, from executive producers Greg Berlanti and Ali Adler. 30-year-old British actress Gemma Atkinson (Casualty, Night of the Living 3D Dead) is reportedly being considered for the role, according to the British tabloid, The Sun, which had previously stated that Atkinson was in talks to star in Emmerdale, a long-running British soap opera. “Gemma is a huge fan of comic books so this is something she’d jump at. It will make her huge Stateside,” the tabloid states, citing a source close to Atkinson. “She said next year will be her best yet whatever happens. If she gets Supergirl it will be amazing or if she begins working on Emmerdale that will be great too.” As with all casting rumors, this news should be taken with a grain of salt.

Geordie Shore star Vicky Pattison has branded fellow reality TV favourite Gemma Collins "very rude" and described her as having "a chip on her shoulder".
Pattison recalled being blanked by Collins at a recent event featuring stars of rival reality shows, stating that the Towie cast member "thought she owned the place".
Speaking to Digital Spy for the launch of her new dating show Ex on the Beach, Pattison explained: "There were a lot of celebs there, loads of Made in Chelsea and Towie people who could not have been sweeter or more down to Earth.
"[Then] Gemma Collins walked in and she was very rude, didn't socialise with anyone else and thought she owned the place. She didn't even say hello.
"I've never seen her since, thank God. I don't think we'd have much to talk about. She doesn't seem to be my cup of tea at all... Everyone else is really lovely,...

The English actress on going clubbing with her mum, her new role in a 'neo-feminist vampire movie' and why she has no regrets about playing Bond girl Strawberry Fields
The first time we see Gemma Arterton in her new film, Byzantium, she is biting off the nose of a lecherous punter in a lap-dancing club. Soon after, dressed in a stripper's outfit and running shoes, she shows a good turn of speed for a 200-year-old soucouyant and then garottes another man with cheese wire. Byzantium is a vampire film, but we already know it's altogether darker, sexier and more gleeful than some recent incarnations of the genre. At the heart of the action are Clara (Arterton) and her daughter, Eleanor (Saoirse Ronan), and their battle against an all-male cabal that wants to hunt them down.
The 27-year-old Arterton has always been drawn to the weird and eclectic – the film that...

Note to Tara: The next time Jax tells you to trust your mother-in-law, don’t.
Sons of Anarchy‘s Gemma has fallen further and further from grace during the FX drama’s current fifth season, but it was her potentially fatal actions at the end of this week’s episode that had us wondering: Has the Samcro matriarch finally hit rock bottom?
After being robbed by Joel McHale’s con-man character, a desperate Gemma turned to Nero — who turned to Jax & Co.
