- Massimo Guglielmi was born in 1954 in Rome, Lazio, Italy. He is a director and writer, known for L'estate di Bobby Charlton (1995), Rebus (1989) and Gangsters (1992).
- In October 2001 Massimo Guglielmi met an actor and director Lasha Dardagany (Day of Reckoning (2001)) at the Cinema House in Tbilisi, when he arrived in Georgia at the cinematographic festival of Italian filmmakers of the last lever. Guglielmi has presented Marco Tullio Giordana's One Hundred Steps (2000), Paolo Rosa's Il mnemonista (2000), Gabriele Muccino's But Forever in My Mind (1999), Giuseppe Piccioni's Not of This World (1999) and Edoardo Winspeare's Sangue vivo (2000). Dardagany and Guglielmi directed some few short lived subjects together.
