- Raymond Hakim was born on August 23, 1909 in Alexandria, Egypt. He was a producer, known for Belle de Jour (1967), Purple Noon (1960) and The Good Time Girls (1960). He died on August 14, 1980 in Deauville, Calvados, France.
- Egyptian-born producer. Started out as a salesman for Paramount Francaise in 1931, then became active as a distributor. With brother Robert Hakim (I) co-founded Paris Film Production in 1934, their first success being Pépé le Moko (1937) with Jean Gabin. After a brief sojourn in Hollywood in the mid-'40s, returned to France where he worked primarily on French/Italian co-productions.
