Ryan Seacrest joined several Hollywood stars in wearing bracelets supporting the #TimesUp movement to the Golden Globes Sunday, a year after he said he was “cleared” of sexual misconduct accusations.
In November 2017, Seacrest was accused by his former stylist, Suzie Hardy, of “grinding” against her while “clad only in his underwear,” as well as “groping her” and “slapping her buttock so hard that it left a large welt.” Hardy said she came forward after the #MeToo movement gained momentum following the Harvey Weinstein scandal.
Seacrest, in a statement to TheWrap last February, denied any wrongdoing.

Um, that's awkward. Ryan Seacrest made things super uncomfortable — for everyone — when he mae an incredibly cringey attempt at hitting on American Idol judge Katy Perry while cameras were rolling. Frankly, fans are baffled by the TV host's behavior. The strange ordeal went down as AI co-stars Katy, 33, Luke Bryan, 41, and Lionel Richie, 68, sat at their judges' table. Ryan, who has hosted the reality television singing competition series since its inception in 2002, appeared to be unaware that they were live on air, despite the fact that the "Swish Swish" singer notified him several times. "Your mom's pretty," 43-year old Ryan says in the video after Katy very distinctly clarifies that they're live on air. He speaks quietly, like he only wants her to hear. She responds in a louder, jokey way to shrug off the comment. "My mom? Hopefully the apple doesn't fall far from the tree," she said. (Photo...

ABC is riding a roller coaster into upfronts.
With three weeks left in the broadcast season, the Alphabet has seen more highs and lows in 2017-18 than the rest of the Big Four broadcasters combined. On one hand, the network boasts the most watched new comedy (“Roseanne”), the most watched new drama (“The Good Doctor”), and the most watched new unscripted show (“American Idol”) — one of which is poised to finish as the season’s highest rated series. On the other, ABC lost its franchise drama producer to Netflix (Shonda Rhimes), did possible damage to its relationship with its top comedy creator (Kenya Barris), and saw two of its biggest new primetime stars embroiled in scandal (Roseanne Barr and Ryan Seacrest).
On top of all that, its parent company just made a play to buy a suite of entertainment companies that includes Hollywood’s most successful television-studio operation and announced...

Is Ryan Seacrest leaving American Idol? A really good April Fool's joke started rumors that Ryan was leaving his job as host on the reality competition series and he was seemingly replaced by The Bachelor franchise host Chris Harrison after Chris did Ryan's job of opening the show on Sunday, April 1 — but even though the network made it very clear that it was just a silly prank, fans still were worried that Ryan could be leaving the show for good — especially considering the reports that have been surrounding the TV personality over the last few months. Back in November 2017, Ryan revealed that he was under investigation at E! after his former stylist Suzie Hardy came forwards with sexual misconduct and harassment allegations against him. She claimed that she allegedly endured years of abuse, groping, sexual comments, and inappropriate requests from Ryan. "As proud as I am and as strong as a woman as I am,...

Before Ryan Seacrest was named as Kelly Ripa’s new co-host on Live last year, Jerry O’Connell filled in from time to time. On March 16, Kelly and Jerry came together again when she appeared as a guest on The Wendy Williams Show, which Jerry was hosting while host Wendy Williams was out on medical leave. As they talked about everything from sexy shoes to family parties to reality TV during an energetic 14-minute segment together, it was clear they were having a blast. "You," Kelly told Jerry matter-of-factly, "are killing it." Now Kelly wants Jerry back. In February, Ryan’s former stylist at E!, Suzie Hardy, claimed he sexually harassed her when they worked together from 2007 to 2013. Ryan, 43, has denied the charges, and Kelly, 47, believes he’s innocent. But she feels embarrassed, an insider tells Life & Style — in the magazine's latest issue, on newsstands now — that she was...

Suzie Hardy, Ryan Seacrest’s former E! News stylist is taking her allegations against her former boss to the police.
Hardy has filed a report with Los Angeles police, Deadline has confirmed, and the Lapd is investigating her claims. Details aren’t known.
The filing of the report follows the conclusion of E!’s internal investigation into Hardy’s allegations of inappropriate conduct against Seacreast, in which it found insufficient evidence to substantiate the claims.
Seacrest has adamantly denied the allegations.
“I dispute these reckless allegations and I plan to cooperate with any corporate inquiries that may result,” the Live With Kelly and Ryan co-host said in his statement at the time. “I treat all my colleagues with kindness, dignity, and understanding, as this is a principle that’s core to who I am. When Ryan Seacrest was accused of sexual abuse by a wardrobe stylist who worked with him at E! News, longtime “American Idol” stage manager Debbie Williams had an immediate reaction: “I call Bs on this whole thing.” Williams worked closely with Seacrest for 15 years as the lead stage manager on “Idol.” She reached out to TheWrap after reading Suzie Hardy’s accusations that Seacrest pursued her, repeatedly embraced her while clad only in his underwear, and grabbed her crotch on more than one occasion. She said the sexual misconduct took place between 2007 and 2013. On Sunday, some stars on the...

Critics have pointed out that E!’s Oscars red carpet pre-show, hosted by Ryan Seacrest, lacked its usual A-list lineup compared to ABC’s broadcast — but the network isn’t concerned.
“They are happy with the interviews that they got and the folks that stopped and talked to Ryan. They’re happy with how it went and with who they were able to talk with,” a source close to the situation tells People. “They had a wide-ranging group of talent, nominees and otherwise.”

Taraji P. Henson stopped by the E! station on the Oscars red carpet and had no problem channeling Cookie when meeting Ryan Seacrest. Accused of sexual misconduct by his former personal stylist Suzie Hardy, Seacrest is hosting E!’s live coverage of the red carpet.
Seacrest asked Henson to comment on Mary J. Blige’s two Oscar nominations, since the actress will present Blige’s performance during the show. However, she appeared to have other matters on her mind.
“You know, the universe has a way of taking care of the good people,” said Henson, tilting her head and putting her hand on Seacrest’s chin. “You know what I mean?”, she asked fixing him with a long look.

The show went on, but did anyone show up? Despite accusations that Ryan Seacrest subjected his ex-stylist to “years of unwanted sexual aggression,” and amid talk that many celebs planned to pass the host by, E! took a business-as-usual approach with its Live From the Red Carpet coverage (well, save for that reported 30-second delay). E! is attempting to get in front of any potential backlash against host Ryan Seacrest on the Oscars red carpet.
Sources say the network is planning a 30-second delay to its live broadcast of Sunday's Live From the Red Carpet, which airs ahead of the Academy Awards. The move would allow E! to filter any awkward moments that may arise during the broadcast regarding the recent sexual harassment and misconduct claims levied against Seacrest by his former stylist, Suzie Hardy.
The cabler, however, won't confirm the delay, instead insisting it's "business as usual" on the carpet. "As always, we tape multiple...

Updated (February 27): A statement from Ryan Seacrest has been added below.
Ryan Seacrest has responded to the sexual allegation made against him by his former “E! News” personal stylist Suzie Hardy. The “Live with Ryan and Kelly” co-host said that supports the Time’s Up and #MeToo anti-harassment movements while denying the claims made against him, and asserting that Hardy attempted to extort him:
Much has been said about the #MeToo and Times Up movement(s) and the importance of providing women and men with the opportunity to share their stories of workplace misconduct, in an effort to change our culture and the systemic inequalities that exist. I absolutely support this cause unequivocally and applaud all the brave souls who have come forward to share their stories.
Sadly, last fall I became one of the accused, which I promptly revealed proactively to the network involved and to the public.
