1940s Republic contract player, often cast in westerns. In Hollywood from 1942. Prior to acting worked as a car-hop at a drive-in, a cigarette girl and as a hostess for a nightclub owned by Lou Costello.
She was the daughter of Matilda Marie (Keller) and Robert Edward Harmon. Her father was from Texas. Her maternal grandparents were from France and Germany, respectively.
