- Anabel Shaw was born on June 24, 1921 in Oakland, California, USA. She was an actress, known for Bulldog Drummond Strikes Back (1947), Here Come the Waves (1944) and Killer at Large (1947). She was married to George Randolph Skopecek Jr. and Joseph Brandon Ford. She died on April 16, 2010 in Santa Barbara, California, USA.

- While on the set of Shock (1946) one day, co-star Lynn Bari and Shaw were talking and Bari mentioned that she was a direct descendant, on her mother's side, of Revolutionary War hero Alexander Hamilton. Shaw revealed that she was a direct descendant of Aaron Burr--the man who killed Hamilton in the famous duel.
