- In 1959, Heyman set up The International Artists Agency, his clients including Elizabeth Taylor, Richard Burton, Richard Harris, Laurence Harvey, Trevor Howard, Shirley Bassey and Burt Bacharach.
- By the age of 22, he was Head of Public Relations at Associated Television.
- Father of David Heyman, producer of the Harry Potter films.
- Co-founded the company Island World in 1990, sold four years later to Polygram.
