Bad films are part of the movie-making process. For every Citizen Kane, there are dozens of Law Abiding Citizens; for every The Exorcist, hundreds of Exorcist II: The Heretics.
They're all meant to do badly, because they are bad. But sometimes, there's an aberration. Sometimes... they're successful. Very successful. Very, very successful.
Here, then, are 14 of our favourite least favourite films to ever make studio heads' eyes turn into little dollar signs (in order of awfulness).
14. Anger Management (2003)
Rotten Tomatoes ranking: 43%
Production budget: $75 million
Worldwide box office: $195 million
Anger Management spluttered back into like in 2012 as a TV vehicle for snake blood-drinking "winner" Charlie Sheen. It lasted two seasons: the first had 10 episodes, the second 90, all so the show could go into syndication. As soon as it hit its 100th episode, it was immediately canned.
13. Meet The Fockers (2004)
Rotten Tomatoes ranking: 38%
Production budget: $80 million
Worldwide box office: $516 million

As Snapchat hunts for brands, a travel company is using the ephemeral messaging app to host its latest sponsored series. Topdeck Travel has teamed up with YouTuber Jimmy Hill and UK-based agency Thinkhouse for Topdeck Snaps, which Hill hails as the "world's first Snapchat travel show." On November 27th, Hill took over the Topdeck Travel Snapchat page and began posting short video clips from a European vacation. Throughout the course of Topdeck Snaps, Hill will travel to Budapest, Krakow, Prague, and Berlin, hitting significant sites along the way. He explained his journey in a video on his YouTube channel, where he has more than 81,000 subscribers. Topdeck Snaps arrives at a time when Snapchat is looking for brands to populate a new content section called "Discover". In order to sweeten the deal, Snapchat has launched an ad platform that brings a new revenue stream to the platform. Topdeck's efforts, however, don't...

We've seen different versions of the Seven Dwarfs in the two Snow White-related live-action films this year, but now it's Disney's turn to revisit the property they first animated way back in 1937. This new version of the Seven Dwarfs will be featured in an upcoming Disney Junior series called The 7D, which will debut at some point in 2014. According to Jim Hill [via Bleeding Cool] it'll be sort of a prequel to Disney's animated Snow White movie and focus solely on those seven dwarfs before they came in contact with the girl who needed protecting from an evil queen. Check out the new dwarfs and the old ones below ... Says Hill, "The 7D live in the whimsical world of Jollywood. Where Queen Delightful is constantly turning to the...

When one thinks of the word “genius,” the first image that pops into most people’s heads is that of scientist Albert Einstein and his unique hair style. Considered a pioneer of human knowledge, Einstein quickly became one of the most recognizable figures of the 20th century. No major film autobiography has ever been made of him, but Walt Disney Pictures almost did make one in the 1980s, starring Richard Dreyfuss as the famous physicist. However, Dreyfuss was more interested in playing another famous figure of the 20th century. As Disney insider Jim Hill says,
“This was a film that was supposed to be done right after Tron. Richard Dreyfuss came in and signed a deal with Disney…. They were going to do the film autobiography of Albert Einstein…. They were actually going to use the CG graphics that were done for Tron to explain Albert Einstein’s revolutionary theories.

Criminal Minds on a Southland Case
Keeping himself busy in between seasons of Southland, actor Shawn Hastosy has turned to Criminal Minds for a guest-starring role. Just last week he appeared on Hawaii Five-0 as mixed martial arts trainer, Marshall. For Criminal Minds he’ll be playing a similar role, only this time he won’t be the trainer.
In an episode that will air this December, Hatosy plays Jimmy Hill, a boxer who fights to raise money for his dying son. TVLine has a couple behind the scenes photos of Hatosy in character. They’re in black and white and look simply beautiful, so take the time and check them out. Charles Dutton plays Jimmy’s trainer while the legendary Benny “The Jet” Urquidez actually served as Hatosy’s trainer to prepare him for the role. He can be seen in one of the images at TVLine playing the referee.

From a Xfm radio show to a ridiculously successful podcast; the trio branched into a television show that allowed Gervais to take part in “the most expensive practical joke he’s ever done“. During a recent episode of The Magical Definition Podcast the hosts, Nathan M. Rose and Jim Hill reveal some details about the rumored Stark Expo project and other Marvel integration with Disney theme parks.
Below are the show notes from the show (podcast discussion starts at 12:30-24:49):
" made a couple of calls about this... There is a skein of truth to this... Disney is looking to find ways to bring the Marvel characters at the Disneyland resort. Problem is they don't entirely fit Tomorrowland which is sort of where the Tony Stark name came up, the Expo thing. Here's the thing: what was initially being looked at was something that would tie to next summer and Joss Whedon'sAvengers movie with the notion that it would be a catch-all movie prop kind of exhibit. Let's be honest here, the thing of Innoventions in its current state is...

More than halfway into The Trial Of A Time Lord, and The Doctor's not a happy camper. Not only is he being hectored by Judge Doom on a constant basis, he's also trying to come to terms with the loss of Peri, whose attempts to pre-empt the Mitchell Brothers from EastEnders were cruelly thwarted by an angry Yrcanos. No wonder he starts the ninth instalment with a face longer than Jimmy Hill's chin.
But that Dunkirk spirit slowly manifests itself as The Doctor now begins His defence. It's an odd choice – he evidently thinks that being an outer space Hercule Poirot will somehow absolve himself of all the charges laid against him. So welcome to the Murder On The Orient Express In Space portion of the trial, which is better known as Terror Of The Vervoids.
Now Doctor Who has attempted murder-mystery dramas in the past, with the likes...
