A third family of one of the victims killed during the Astroworld tragedy quietly settled their lawsuit against Live Nation, Travis Scott, and other Astroworld organizers six months ago, a source confirms to Rolling Stone.
The family of 14-year-old John Hilgert settled for an undisclosed sum, and court documents filed in Harris County and reviewed by Rolling Stone note that the family submitted a notice of non-suit with prejudice in February, withdrawing their case. Defendants listed in the filing included Scott, Live Nation, Scoremore, and several security companies, among others.

Burt Bacharach was one of the most distinguished and successful composers of the last century.
Working most fruitfully with the lyricist Hal David, his addictively intelligent songs embodied unconventional time signatures, shifting chords and a fusion of pop and rock, jazz, and Latin elements. With Bacharach’s adventurous song structures married to David’s words, often bittersweet lyrics as though from a cinematic school of realism, the duo were like the personification of New York’s Brill Building hit factory.
Although not all these songs were with David, Bacharach, who has died aged 94, enjoyed more than 50 UK Top 40 hits, and more than 70 in his native US. A remarkable 38 of these tunes were with the classically trained former gospel singer Dionne Warwick with whom the pair began working in 1962. Several of Bacharach’s compositions were bigger hits in the UK than in America.

Ezra Blount loved skateboarding, music and playing Fortnite. The latter is how he got into Travis Scott, though his family noted his natural ability for performance himself. In a touching video his father Treston Blount shared on a GoFundMe page for Ezra, the father and son are seen acting out a SpongeBob SquarePants meme and lip-syncing Metro Boomin’s “10 Freaky Girls” featuring 21 Savage.
The clip also features photos and clips from their time at Scott’s Astroworld concert. Treston took Ezra to see Scott’s set in Houston and had...
