Lance was born in Salt Lake City, Utah to Roger and Kathy Johnson on
February 10, 1982. He attended elementary school at St. Olaf Catholic
School in Bountiful, Utah. While in elementary school, Lance joined the
Theatre School For Youth program conducted by the Department of
Continuing Education at the University of Utah. Through his association
with the Theatre School, he was invited to audition for the film Little
Heroes. He was cast as Fritz and made his film debut while in third
grade. He continued to attend the Theatre School, perfoming in numerous
stage productions. Lance attended high school at Judge Memorial
Catholic High School in Salt Lake City, Utah and graduated as
Salutatorian.
Following high school, Lance matriculated at the University of Notre
Dame where he was enrolled in a dual degree program in Film and
Finance. At Notre Dame, Lance founded and executive produced the
school's first-ever student run television show, NDTV: Notre Dame
Television. He graduated with highest honors 2004.
Graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Notre Dame in May
2004.
Currently working in San Francisco, California on the adaptation
of the Broadway musical "Rent."
Currently working in London, England as an Intern for Harry
Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. Will be returning to the University
of Notre Dame in the Fall where he is studying Finance and Film.
