Noted talk-show host Jimmy Fallon would have had a completely different life if he had picked up on a hint years ago. The SNL alum was reportedly blindsided when actress Nicole Kidman brought up a ‘date’ they had back when she was single after her divorce from Tom Cruise. Fallon reportedly did not know that it was a date.
The talk-show host later revealed that he was extremely embarrassed by the revelation, which came after Kidman married country rockstar Keith Urban. Fallon also revealed that in the years since Kidman’s confession, the crush has become a running joke between the three and has even led Fallon to prank Kidman.

Hollywood has been known for long as the glitzy world of flashy dreams and shattered romances. And more often these two happen together, as young faces struggle to make a name for themselves in the industry, while making new bonds and leaving old ones behind. Comedian and actor Jimmy Fallon’s rise to stardom is one such inspirational story, but his obliviousness to romantic hints is just as hilarious.
The Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon
Before he married Nancy Juvonen in 2007, Fallon had associations with a number of beautiful actresses, such as Nicole Kidman and Kate Hudson. However, the comedian failed to pick up on their clues, either due to being too focused on his career, or flat-out believing he never had a chance.

Jimmy Fallon apologized to “Tonight Show” staffers Thursday afternoon following a Rolling Stone report about his behavior at NBC’s venerable late-night program over the years.
“It’s embarrassing and I feel so bad. Sorry if I embarrassed you and your family and friends,” Fallon said during a Zoom meeting with “Tonight” employees, Variety has learned. “I feel so bad I can’t even tell you.” He told the assemblage during the meeting, which was said to be brief: “I want this show to be fun, it should be inclusive for everybody, it should be funny, it should be the best show, the best people.”
Several former staff members of “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” spoke to Rolling Stone about what they described as a toxic work environment behind the scenes of the NBC late night program. Some of these staffers said their mental health worsened during their time on the show,...

Jimmy Fallon is getting into the (summer) holiday spirit two days early. On July 2, the late-night TV host shared a rare family photo featuring his wife, Nancy Juvonen, and their daughters, Winnie and Frances. In the photo, the family of four is all smiles as they stand on a dock, but Fallon makes it clear in his caption that he had conditions in place before taking the photo.
"I agreed to take this photo only if I could stand on the dry side of the dock," Fallon wrote. "Happy 2nd of July!" While his request may seem strange, the dock is absolutely drenched, and in his defense, he is wearing pristine white sneakers. Meanwhile, his wife is wearing wedge sandals, and the girls are rocking the ultimate summer footwear: bare feet.

Drew Barrymore Praises ‘Scrappy People,’ Urges Everyone to ‘Get Down on the God Damn Floor’ and Help
In an energetic speech at Variety’s Power of Women event Thursday night, Drew Barrymore praised those who prioritize action over words, encouraging everyone to “get down on the god damn floor” and help those in need.
While speaking about her charity of choice, World Central Kitchen — which provides meals to victims of natural disasters — Barrymore expressed her admiration for founder José Andrés and all the “scrappy people” who are ready to band together at any moment.
“When I look at José Andrés, the reason I’m drawn to World Central Kitchen is because he says, ‘I’m sorry, but tomorrow is not Ok. It’s today.’ And I love those scrappy people! I have always been one of those scrappy people. If you see somebody like doing this,” Barrymore said as she physically got down on the floor, “get down on the god damn floor with them, and start picking stuff up!

Chris Miller will take the reins of NBC’s venerable “Tonight Show,” stepping in as showrunner as the current one, Jamie Granet-Bederman, takes a step back.
Miller joins the program from “The Drew Barrymore Show,” where he served as one of the executive producers. He has ties to Fallon, having worked for Flower Films, the production company launched by Barrymore and her partner, Nancy Juvonen. Juvonen is Fallon’s wife, and she made some popular appearances on “Tonight” during the pandemic, when the show went into an “at home” production that featured its host and his family hunkering down away from the “Tonight” set at NBC’s 30 Rockefeller Plaza headquarters.
Granet-Bederman is expected to focus on developing new projects for Fallon, who also has his own production company, Electric Hot Dog, which is one of the backers of the singing series “That’s My Jam.”

The 4K Ultra HD crowd has a treat in store, for Donnie Boy is back for theatrical quality home screenings. Richard Kelly’s dreamy/morbid teen fantasy has gained in stature in the twenty years (gasp) since the nasty bunny-man ‘Frank’ raised his ugly chrome head… and young Donald’s psychic sci-fi ordeal seems more relevant than ever. Arrow’s 4K-only release shows the label once again proving its mettle in the hard media video biz, with full-res encodings of both the theatrical and director’s extended cuts.

“These are the late-night wars,” said Jimmy Kimmel.
However, the host of ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! was not referring to ratings or the battle over hosting The Tonight Show.
He was talking about pizza.
A couple of days ago, Fallon posted a three minute video of himself making his own pizza to Instagram and the video has had over 1M views.
The former SNL-er said he had been inspired by watching Stanley Tucci’s CNN series Searching for Italy to make his own pizza. Although he nearly set off his fire alarm, Fallon rolled his dough, got his San Marzano tomatoes and stuck his creation in his Breville pizza maker.
“That is the best we’ve ever had, that’s unbelievable. Kids, we have dinner and breakfast for tomorrow,” he said as his wife Nancy Juvonen filmed him.
Kimmel took umbrage with this and decided to put out his own rival pizza video.

NBC has extended Jimmy Fallon’s contract, according to people familiar with the matter, a vote of confidence in the “Tonight Show” host amid a roiling political cycle.
Terms of the new deal could not be immediately learned. Fallon signed a three-and-a-half-year contract with NBC in 2015 that extended a previous contract to the fall of 2021. He has led “Tonight” since 2015, succeeding Jay Leno behind the desk and moving the program to New York for the first time in decades. The New York Times previously reported Fallon told “Tonight” staffers Monday that he and NBC had extended his contract.
NBC declined to make executives available for comment.
NBC signs Fallon on the cusp of the 2020 presidential election, which even late-night producers are viewing with interest. President Donald Trump’s time in office has spurred many of the format’s hosts, particularly Stephen Colbert, to spend many monologues disparaging his moves in the Oval Office.

Jimmy Fallon moved to take NBC’s “Tonight Show” from “at home” to “at large” by bringing the venerable program back to NBC’s New York studios after weeks of broadcasting the show from his house.
“Normalcy, any type of normalcy feels great,” Fallon told viewers during Monday’s “Tonight” broadcast, dressed in casual clothes, with cameramen wearing facial masks and members of the show’s in-house Roots band scattered around the studio for proper social distancing. “These are the hardest times to do comedy, but they are also the times when we need it the most,” he said. There was no audience in the studio to respond, and Fallon depended on reactions from the musicians and the crew to fuel his performance.
“Tonight” is the first of late-night’s first-line broadcast programs to chart some kind of return to the wee-hours look and feel viewers have known for decades.

The production will employ social distancing as well as all of the health and safety guidelines as approved by New York authorities.

The late night talk shows and their hosts are blazing the trail for TV production in this time of Covid-19. Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel, Trevor Noah, Stephen Colbert, Conan O’Brien, Seth Meyers, James Corden and Samantha Bee are all delivering their comedy from home — and let’s not forget the paycasters: Bill Maher and John Oliver. The show goes on even without a set or an audience.
“The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” showrunner Gavin Purcell views this new way of producing as an exciting challenge. “I think people respond to seeing people in real time dig into their tool sets,” he tells Gold Derby in our exclusive interview. His was one of the first shows to move from full-scale production to a home edition. Purcell admits Fallon “initiated the idea.” So, with the consent of his wife and NBC, he began shooting from his Long Island home beginning in mid-March.

Ever since Jimmy Fallon and Nancy Juvonen wed in 2007, we've gotten glimpses of their marriage over the years through their rare red carpet appearances and adorable chats on The Tonight Show. And we can't help but wonder: how does one get a relationship like that? Well, apparently, you need Drew Barrymore.
Jimmy and Nancy first met while working together on 2005's Fever Pitch. Although Drew and Jimmy played onscreen love interests, a real-life romance between Nancy (who was a producer on the movie) and the talk show host eventually blossomed after Drew connected them. Welp, she’s no Lin-Manuel Miranda, but Jennifer Garner did her best to follow his rousing rendition of “Dear Theodosia” when she appeared as Jimmy Fallon’s guest on Day 3 of “The Tonight Show: At Home Edition.”
Yes, Miranda had been the guest on Day 2 and performed the beautiful piece from his musical “Hamilton,” sure — but Jen busted out “Sally the Sexy Saxophone” to accompany Fallon in a handwashing song on Thursday’s installment of the self-quarantined mini version of the “Tonight Show.”
Here are the lyrics, courtesy of Fallon, who clearly made them up on the spot: “Happy birthday, wash your hands, Happy birthday washing your hands. Wash your hands, wash your hands. Wash your hands and don’t touch your face.”

Jimmy Fallon can still pull a pretty good guest from home. On Night 2 of “The Tonight Show: At Home Edition,” Lin-Manuel Miranda, the creator and star of “Hamilton,” joined Jimmy’s show via webcam.
Before we got to the guest, Fallon’s daughters Winnie and Franny provided the rudimentary intro music. Their participation could bring all-new energy to Fallon’s popular “Classroom Instruments” segment.
The older girl, Winnie, again played the role of “Tonight Show” graphics department. She also made daddy’s Wednesday monologue next to impossible to perform.
Fallon’s wife, Nancy Juvonen, served as camera operator once more. The Hollywood producer and partner in Drew Barrymore’s Flower Films knows her way around a set.

“Charlie’s Angels” is set to land in China on Nov. 15.
The new movie iteration of the 1970s TV show stars Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott and Ella Balinksa as the three gun-toting, karate-chopping investigators sent on dangerous missions by the mysterious Charles Townsend, whose private detection firm now has branches around the world. Elizabeth Banks directs.
The Sony Pictures movie will hit mainland Chinese theaters day and date with its U.S. release.
The last “Angels” film, 2003’s “Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle,” grossed a little more than $2 million in China. There are now tens of thousands more screens in the Middle Kingdom, which has become the world’s second-largest movie market.
However, none of the new film’s three main stars is of Chinese descent, as was Lucy Liu. Whether that will have any effect on its reception in China remains to be seen.

No way! It's hard to believe that Jimmy Fallon possibly couldn't have become the late night talk show host that we've all come to love on The Tonight Show. But, during a recent appearance at the The New Yorker Festival, the 44-year-old comedian said that he actually wanted to be a priest when he was younger. "I loved it. I loved the whole idea of it. I loved dressing up. I loved the smell of incense. I mean, I loved the whole idea," he said, according to Page Six. Jimmy also revealed that his colleague and the former host of The Colbert Report, Stephen Colbert, was an altar boy in his younger days, too. After more than 10 years of marriage, Jimmy Fallon still remembers the day that he proposed to his wife, Nancy Juvonen — and, apparently, the night he originally hoped to get down on one knee didn't go according to plan! Jimmy recalled his funny first proposal attempt and their actual engagement during a recent PeopleTV interview with Jess Cagle. During the sit-down, Jimmy explained that his now-wife once came to visit him in NYC and he wanted to surprise her with a romantic proposal during the trip. But everything soon changed when she got them a reservation at the French restaurant Per Se. (Photo Credit: Getty Images) "I wanted it to be romantic and perfect. I didn't want to propose in Per Se because what if one year it moves locations, and years later I'm going to have kids and go, 'Your mom and I got [engaged here]. I know it's a laser tag...

How nice! While Jimmy Fallon was on a dinner date with his wife, Nancy Juvonen, in the Hamptons earlier this week, the generous star reportedly paid for another table's dinner bill — and the check was more than $1,000! A source told Page Six that Jimmy, 43, simply loved the "good vibe" from the people sitting at the table next to him and his wife. "He said he appreciated how happy [the group looked] and how they were 'enjoying each other’s company.' He said the ‘good vibe' made him happy and he wanted to pay for dinner," the insider shared. (Photo Credit: Getty Images) The Tonight Show host has also been known to be very charitable and generous on his late night talk show. In December 2017, Jimmy invited NYC resident Giselle Burgess on the program to speak to her about the special Girl Scout troop she founded for homeless girls in the Big Apple.
