Vin Kehoe was born on September 12, 1921 in Brooklyn, New York, USA. He was an actor and production designer, known for The Blob (1958), Charly (1968) and Tales of Tomorrow (1951). He died on August 17, 2008 in Somis, California, USA.
He formed an American Revolutionary War battle re-enactment group in
Massachusetts, known as the British 10th Regiment of Foot. He carefully
made sure that the recreated British uniforms from 1775 were as
authentic as possible.
The 10th Regiment is still in existence after thirty years and still
re-enacts the Battle of Lexington Green in Lexington, Massachusetts,
USA, every year.
As a professional photographer in the late 1950s his work has been published in Time, Life, Sports Illustrated, Argosy, Popular Photography and many other leading publications.
Attended the American Theatre Wing Professional Training Program for veterans and graduated from Columbia University with a BFA in Motion Picture and Television Production.
Of Irish and Canadian-French parentage, Vincent was brought up and went to school in Lowell, Massachusetts. He attended MIT in 1940-1941 and Boston University in 1942.
