On Sunday during the Super Bowl, a super Pac supporting Robert F. Kennedy Jr. ran an ad for his independent presidential campaign for the 2024 election.
The advertisement displayed pictures of the candidate in vintage attire, echoing the campaign of his uncle, President John F. Kennedy. The commercial was meant to honor the legacy of the former president and stir up buzz from Rfk Jr., however, many members of the Kennedy family did not receive it well.
Kennedy’s cousin, Bobby Shriver, son of Eunice Kennedy Shriver, posted on X, “My cousin’s Super Bowl ad used our uncle’s faces – and my Mother’s. She would be appalled by his deadly health care views.”

Incomprehensible Maga-land predictions that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce would rig the Super Bowl and endorse Joe Biden for president to 100 million American viewers as part of a massive psy-op turned out to have been greatly exaggerated. Mostly, they just kissed a lot.
But that’s not to say our nation’s fractious politics didn’t break through during the broadcast. While most of the ads involved the usual self-effacing celebrities asserting their cultural relevance — and some of them were crowd-pleasers and even funny — a number of them touched on some of the most divisive issues of the day: religion, the presidential race and Bud Light.
Going in, all eyes were on the last, the object of a polarizing 2023 boycott from conservative groups for having collaborated with trans influencer Dylan Mulvaney on an Instagram campaign to promote March Madness. Sales slumped. Kid Rock strafed at Bud Light cases with his...

A presidential campaign ad for Robert F. Kennedy Jr. aired during Sunday’s Super Bowl — and it might have looked familiar for folks who were around when John F. Kennedy was running for president.
The ad, from super Pac American Values 2024, resembled a presidential campaign ad for Kennedy’s uncle, JFK, when he was campaigning for president alongside his running mate Lyndon B. Johnson in 1960.
The original, black-and-white ad features a catchy song repeating “Kennedy” over and over in the chorus, while images of JFK and his name are shown over lyrics like: “Do you want a man for president who’s seasoned through and through? But not so doggone seasoned that he won’t try something new? A man who’s old enough to know and young enough to do?”
Rfk Jr.’s includes the same song with the same lyrics, along with the same (now-vintage) vibe of the original.

The story of the Special Olympics has been well told. So Robin Roberts is offering a new one.
The “Good Morning America” co-anchor is an executive producer of ‘All You Hear Is Noise,” a new unscripted project that examines the paths of three Special Olympics contestants — Trent Hampton, Melanie Holmes, and Chris Wines — who travel to the United Arab Emirates to compete in the Special Olympics World Games, but face challenges in employment, relationships, and more upon their return.
The project has been produced by SpringHill Company, the content production unit backed by LeBron James, and its “Uninterrupted” brand, which focuses on athlete empowerment, along with Roberts’ own Rock’n Robin Productions. The film debuts at the Tribeca Film Festival.

Total Recall – My Unbelievably True Life Story merely confirms our suspicions: that nothing brings Arnie more pleasure than himself
Oho! What gift is this from the celebrity gods, floating down on to the Lost in Showbiz desk? Why, it's Arnold Schwarzenegger's 650-page autobiography, Total Recall – My Unbelievably True Life Story. While LiS is dismayed to lose its long-running bet that the title would be I Told You I'd Be Back – And I Am!, the subtitle does provide consolations with its pleasing similarity to Gary Shteyngart's tale of a plucky immigrant in America, Super Sad True Love Story, but Arnified. Thank you, celebrity gods! Tools down, everyone – it's a Lost in Showbiz book group special.
The first thing to say is that this is not a celebrity autobiography. Trust me, I have a degree in celebrity autobiographies from TMZ.com University, and this is not a contribution to that noble genre.

A digest of Arnie's 650-page, aptly-named autobiography, Total Recall – from muscles to movies and from Maria to Mildred
Like most profoundly unfunny people, Arnold Schwarzenegger is very proud of his sense of humour.
Hardly a page goes by in Total Recall, his whopping 650-page memoir, without a reference to some sticky situation he got out of through cunning use of deadpan or a passing zinger – for example, when he debated Arianna Huffington during the 2003 California gubernatorial race:
"If she got overly dramatic, I could say, 'I know you're Greek' or 'Switch to decaf.'"
The other thing you learn from Arnie's book is that everything in life has a bodybuilding analogy. Once in office, losing a dispute with the labor unions was like "losing to Frank Zane in Miami [Mr Universe, 1968] when I first came to America."

Sacramento, Calif. -- Arnold Schwarzenegger says his lifelong penchant for secrecy and ability to put his emotions "on deep freeze" led him to keep many secrets from his wife Maria Shriver, eventually causing the dissolution of their marriage when he was forced to admit he fathered a child with the family's housekeeper years earlier.
Throughout their strained 25-year marriage, Schwarzenegger says he did not want to tell Shriver about crucial life decisions such as major heart surgery and running for California governor because he feared she would overreact and tell her well-connected family and friends.
In his new autobiography, "Total Recall: My Unbelievably True Life Story," and in an interview airing Sunday on "60 Minutes," the former California governor acknowledges that his inability to be honest with people has hurt those closest to him.
"That's the way I handle things. And it always has worked. But, I mean it does...

1. Taylor Swift & Beau Pay Tribute at Kennedy Grave
Taylor Swift and new boyfriend Conor Kennedy visited the grave of his late mother last Sunday in Cape Cod along with other members of the Kennedy clan.
Swift, 22, and Conor, 18, have been dating for about two months. His mother, Mary Richardson Kennedy, committed suicide in May; she had been separated from his father, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., and reportedly suffered from depression and alcoholism. The Los Angeles Times (via Us Weekly) is reporting that Katie Holmes has enrolled daughter Suri Cruise in an all-girls Catholic school in New York City for the 2012-13 school year. Reportedly, Suri will attend Convent of the Sacred Heart.
The school teaches grades K-12 and is located on Manhattan's Upper East Side at East 91st St. and Fifth Avenue. Famous alumnae of the school include Lady Gaga, Jordana Brewster, Paris and Nicky Hilton, Caroline, Ethel and Joan Kennedy, Eunice Kennedy Shriver, Christa Miller, Elaine Stritch and Gloria Morgan Vanderbilt. The average annual enrollment of the school is just under 700 students.
Suri has previously been homeschooled. But maybe now she'll round up her own "Gossip Girl"-style group of friends.

Arnold Schwarzenegger and his estranged wife Maria Shriver spent Christmas in Los Angeles. The former California governor and his estranged wife celebrated the holidays -- along with their four children -- together, and later attended the L.A. Lakers' season opener.
Then Shriver was seen wearing a flashy diamond ring on ther left hand, fueling speculation that they were working out their differences. Namely, getting past the fact that Schwarzenegger had a love child with the family housekeeper.
But People reports that Shriver's ring is actually her late mother, Eunice Shriver's, engagement ring. Shriver has been wearing it in her mother's memory since Eunice Shriver's death in August of 2009.
So everyone can put away their jewelry loupes.

Mystery solved. While Internet reports that Maria Shriver is wearing a suspicious ring on that finger fueled rumors of a possible reconciliation with husband Arnold Schwarzenegger, People has learned there's a different explanation. The bling seen on Shriver's left hand is actually her late mother's engagement ring. Shriver, who was extremely close her mom, has been wearing the ring since Eunice Shriver's death in August 2009. As for rumors that Shriver is having second thoughts about divorcing Schwarzenegger, a source close to the couple denies it. "The reports of a reconciliation are not true," says the source. Washington, Dec 26: The quality of the emotional relationship between a mother and her child could affect the potential for that kid to be obese during adolescence, a new study has suggested.
Researchers from Ohio State University analysed data from 977 participants in the Study of Early Child Care and Youth Development, a project of the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development.
The sample in this national study included diverse families living in nine U.S. states whose children were born in 1991.
As part of that national study, trained observers assessed child attachment security and maternal sensitivity by documenting interactions between mothers and their children at three.

Arnold Schwarzenegger Education! Affair with multiple mistresses costly? [May 27] Actor Arnold Schwarzenegger has made millions working in Hollywood movies such as The Terminator series alongside Linda Hamilton and True Lies with Jamie Lee Curtis. As the former governor of California he probably didn’t do that poorly either. Add in a few mistresses, and these millions are quickly going to dwindle down to nothing! One thing Arnold Schwarzenegger has shown America, by way of his multiple affairs education and his mistresses, is that affairs are costly. How are they costly? Having affairs with multiples mistresses means that you may end up losing your family, including your supportive wife, Maria Shriver, daughter of Eunice Kennedy Shriver, your career as the star of Hollywood movies, the respect of your children, and of course, your money. As husband and wife, most couples do not think their marriage will be rocked by an affair, much less several affairs.

Wow! Arnold Schwarzenegger’s former housekeeper-mistress Mildred Baena was photographed next to his wife and mother-in-law!
A series of photos recently uncovered from Schwarzenegger’s 2007 inauguration shows Baena thisclose to members of the former governor’s family. What was she thinking?
In the pics, Baena looks like any other family member. The pictures show her (and her Louis Vuitton bag!) leaving the ceremony with Maria Shriver‘s mother Eunice Kennedy Shriver. Who’s missing from the outing? Not surprisingly, the now-13-year-old son Baena had with Schwarzenegger.
The photographs hammer home the point that the affair went on right under Shriver’s nose. In fact, Shriver reportedly thought of Baena as a friend, and Baena often tried on Shriver’s clothing and jewelry. We bet that sisterly-like behavior isn’t happening anymore!

Hollywood Couples Gossip! Arnold Schwarzenegger losing Hollywood movie and television roles? [May 22] Hollywood star Arnold Schwarzenegger is in hot water for the rumors surrounding his serial infidelity to wife Maria Shriver, daughter of Eunice Kennedy Shriver. A pretty green family, the Schwarzenegger Shriver family was historically one viewed as a husband ad wife duo, running the state of the east coast of the United States, during Arnold’s stint at the Republic governor of California. An advocate for women in the past, the former first lady of California, Shriver is now seen instead as the butt of jokes since people cannot believe she was living in the same house as her husband and the woman which with whom he was cheating on her. Mildred Patricia Baena, the mother of Arnold’s love child, along with a few other women, have come forth as past lovers of The Terminator star. Already, the former bodybuilder known as Mr.

Hollywood Gossip! Arnold Schwarzenegger caught with more women than Tiger Woods? [May 20] Former Mr. Olympia (Aka Arnold Schwarzenegger) apparently felt he was untouchable as a ‘Greek god’ when he was cheating on his soon to be former wife, daughter of the late Eunice Kennedy Shriver, Maria Shriver. Now the former Republican governor of California, Schwarzenegger is facing an entirely new type of politics – the complicated dynamics he has created within his family for one thing, and how to own up to how he has hurt everyone he reported loves, over the years. Instead of pumping iron as a body builder, the Terminator star has been pumping up his ego as he makes drama his business instead of acting or politics. First we heard he had a love child with former housekeeper Mildred Patricia Baena. Then we heard about Gigi Goyette Jeffers, a self-reported mistress of Arnold’s. Not to be outdone,...

While Maria Shriver is no doubt decompressing (and lawyering up) after the shock of husband Arnold Schwarzenegger's infidelities, close friends of Maria's tell me the pain goes much deeper than what's being reported. "He completely betrayed Maria," says a Shriver colleague and friend, who shares many common interests with the famous Kennedy daughter. "And I'll tell you what hurt her the most..." "Do you realize," asks the Shriver pal and confidante, "that this means when Arnold was standing by her side through mother's death—and then her father's death—he was concealing this [affair and love child] from her, too?" Eunice Kennedy Shriver died...
