General Hospital spoilers tease that Laura Collins (Genie Francis) could certainly use her brother right about now. No, not Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober). Cyrus is a handful of his own on his best day. It’s not even completely clear if Cyrus has reformed from his drug kingpin days, even though he claims he has and has found religion.
Laura’s other brother, Martin Grey (Michael E Knight), has quickly become beloved to the mayor, even though they just met a couple of years ago. With Laura’s reputation about to blow up thanks to her plans regarding Heather Webber (Alley Mills), Laura can use all the support she can get.

Kin Shriner was once a staple on General Hospital.
He’s been a staple in the soap world for nearly five decades and has held the role of Scotty Baldwin for as long as viewers can remember.
While he did some soap-hopping, Port Charles is Scotty Baldwin’s home.
The actor tapered off in recent years, though he has been seen on occasion. Once his relationship with Liesl (Kathleen Gati) fizzled, Gh viewers began seeing less of him.
These days, he’s paired up with Lucy (Lynn Herring) after a romp in a haystack led to her breakup with Martin (Michael E. Knight). Scotty is busy trying to help Lucy keep Deception afloat after she sabotaged her working relationship with Sasha (Sofia Mattson).
While it isn’t shocking when Kin takes an extended absence from the role of Scotty, a recent post from the actor made viewers question whether his...

Lex Luthor once said “If man won’t kill God, the Devil will do it!” in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Well, the sentence seems extremely true for David Corenswet and James Gunn as Superman’s suit for James Gunn’s upcoming Superman was revealed moments ago.
Zack Snyder, the former director at Dceu was known for his iconic costumes and suits and it seems that the devil is indeed trying to kill god. Having butchered Superman’s suit, here’s what people have to say after seeing the symbol of hope on Corenswet’s costume!

General Hospital spoilers tease that Martin Grey (Michael E Knight) left Port Charles for the time being once he discovered that Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) had slept with Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner). But Martin promised his sister, Mayor Laura Collins (Genie Francis) that he would eventually come back.
The two of them up until that point had been unsure what to make of their other brother, Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober). As viewers know, Cyrus has a drug kingpin before he was finally caught and sent to prison.
General Hospital Spoilers – Cyrus Renault Claims To Have Found God
Thanks to his medical condition, Cyrus was eventually released from prison. He claimed that he had reformed and had even found religion. But both Martin and Laura were doubtful By the time Martin had left town, he and Laura were still uncertain whether or not Cyrus was truly on the up and up.

After more than 25 years away, actress Rena Sofer returned to “General Hospital” in October 2023 as Lois Cerullo, but it looks like her time as a contract player in Port Charles has concluded. According to a recent update to the show’s credits, Sofer appears in the recurring section following perennial list leader James Patrick Stuart (Valentin Cassadine).
Although Sofer is now on recurring status, there is no official indication that she’s about to exit the series anytime soon, despite saying in a Soap Opera Digest interview that she agreed to return for a short period of time after getting a text message from the show’s executive producer, Frank Valentini, who had reached out to see if she’d be interested in reprising the role of Lois so that her character might help Ned (Wally Kurth) with regaining his memory after thinking he was Eddie Maine again.

Fans of General Hospital are wondering if Emmy-winning star Michael E. Knight‘s time in Port Charles may be coming to a close. In an explosive episode of the daytime soap, Knight’s Martin Gray quits town after he breaks things off with his romantic interest, Lucy Coe (Lynn Harring), who then gets back together with her ex-lover Scotty Baldwin. Many fans speculate that Knight could be exiting the show for good. However, fear not. The good news is that Martin has stepped away to lick his wounds, regroup, and consider why he really left Coe in the first place, according to Soap Opera Digest. Knight will only temporarily be away from the show. The actor, who hails from Princeton, NJ, became part of the General Hospital cast in 2019. His portrayal was embraced warmly, swiftly intertwining his character with the soap’s enduring figure, Genie Francis‘ Laura Collins. His previous...

Michael E. Knight’s time on “General Hospital” has ended, at least temporarily.
According to Soap Opera Digest, which first reported the news, the actor, who has played the recurring role of Martin Grey on and off since 2019, left the canvas last week when the character boarded a plane to visit his ailing mother.
The outlet noted that Knight’s exit is temporary but did not provide any indication as to when the character might return, particularly as the series is undergoing a shift behind the scenes with new head writers taking over from outgoing head writers Chris Van Etten and Dan O’Connor, the two primary writers behind the character’s introduction.

General Hospital has lost its way, and adding cast members with little to no significance to the current cast has been par for the course.
The cast is so bloated, yet many longtime fan favorites have been on the back burner for so long that what was simmering is probably stuck to the pot.
Over the years, the show has morphed from the hospital drama to being more focused on the mob scene, run by none other than Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
Whether viewers want to admit it or not, he has become the face of the show. He is on nearly every day and often is the center of focus for several big storylines on the daytime drama.
However, some of us remember the days of great storylines that happened at the hospital. The nursing staff has dwindled, and the doctors are few and far between these days.

The Daytime Emmys announced their call for awards entries on Thursday, February 1. But that’s not all. They also revealed a number of changes to this year’s event, including the elimination of the category of Best Younger Performer in a Drama Series, ending a decades-long tradition of honoring the best up-and-coming talent in the medium. Younger performers will now be slotted into lead, supporting or guest categories instead.
National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) president Adam Sharp said in an official statement, “Programming is always changing, and NATAS continues to adapt its competition rules to reflect these shifts in the television landscape. We’re looking forward to gathering again at the 51st Daytime Emmys to celebrate all the nominees and the entertaining and enlightening programs they create.”

Could Kitt ride again? Scooper Daniel Richtman took to his Patreon to claim that not only is Universal Pictures developing a Knight Rider movie, but that John Cena is already attached to star.
Richtman added that Matt Mider and Kevin Burrows (The Package) are writing the script. Of course, nothing has been confirmed at this time, but it’s somewhat surprising that Knight Rider hasn’t received a modern big-screen update like so many of its ’80s brethren. We’ve seen The A-Team, 21 Jump Street, The Equalizer, Miami Vice, and more all make the leap to the big screen, so why not Knight Rider? The classic series starred David Hasselhoff as Michael Knight, a former detective given a new identity by a tech billionaire to help fight crime. Aiding him in that pursuit was Kitt, an artificially intelligent and nearly indestructible car.

Michael Caine’s heist comedy has been rated one of the top UK movies ever. It’s a flip Swingin’ England slapstick thriller, lavishly produced and with an emphasis on fancy cars. Caine is a cockney crook with an insane scheme to steal millions in Red Chinese gold in Turin. Slick stuntwork combines with ‘Team Brit’ humor for a wild escape in a rush hour traffic jam. The lavish goes for show-off spectacle — its real stars are a trio of undersized, underdog UK automobiles.

It’s hard to imagine “Boy Meets World” without legendary actor William Daniels playing the iconic role of Mr. Feeny. But it almost didn’t happen, because Daniels turned down the role twice!
The 95-year-old actor, flanked by his wife of over 70 years, actress Bonnie Bartlett, opened up to Et’s Kevin Frazier about the reasons why he didn’t see himself playing Cory Matthews’ (Ben Savage) teacher-turned-mentor. For starters — and simply put — Daniels didn’t want to do a sitcom.
He was having the time of his life playing Dr. Mark Craig in the drama series “St. Elsewhere”, for which he won two Emmys, including in 1986 for Lead Actor in a Drama Series. Bartlett also won an Emmy that year for Best Supporting Actress, as they became the second married couple in history to win an Emmy on the same night for “St. Elsewhere”. Williams had also voiced K.

Forty years ago, a series with an on-the-rise soap actor and a campy premise barreled into the zeitgeist.
Premiering Sept. 26, 1982, Knight Rider hailed from creator Glen A. Larson, the man behind Battlestar Galactica and Magnum, P.I. It centered on a detective who suffers a near-fatal gunshot wound and is reborn with a surgically altered face, thanks to a mysterious benefactor, and drafted into the crime-fighting Foundation for Law and Government (Flag). David Hasselhoff, known at the time for The Young and the Restless, starred as Michael Knight, who drove a tricked-out, artificially intelligent Trans Am called Kitt, voiced by William Daniels, and reported to Flag director Devon Miles (Edward Mulhare).
THR‘s review praised the directing and stunts but noted the “fluffed, sugar-coated adventure” required viewers to “suspend knowledge of everything real.” However, the show found an audience seeking such escapism, and thanks to syndication and,...

Knight Rider, a shadowy flight into the dangerous world of a man who does not exist. Michael Knight, a young loner on a crusade to champion the cause of the innocent, the helpless, the powerless in a world of criminals who operate above the law. So states the voiceover intro of NBC’s 80s-era action hit Knight Rider, in which David Hasselhoff played that crusading hero (after starring on The Young and the Restless and before hitting the beach for Baywatch). But Michael couldn’t do it alone, of course: He had a supercharged, computerized, talking 1982 Pontiac Trans Am Firebird called Kitt to help out. Kitt — which stood for Knight Industries Two Thousand — was the wheel deal. With Knight Rider hitting its 40-year anniversary on September 26, we’re detailing how Kitt got kitted out to evolve from a sweet ride to one of television’s most famous autos. The show...

“Knight Rider– a shadowy flight into the dangerous world of a man who does not exist.”
There may have never been a TV series as purely ‘80s as Knight Rider. David Hasselhoff, in a leather jacket and a mullet, his shirt unbuttoned just enough to show a little bit of chest hair, fighting crime in a talking sports car. If you asked an AI arts program to draw “the most ‘80s TV series ever”, it would draw Knight Rider.
Yes, maybe you think that in 2022 the idea of a show about a car that can talk and drive itself is a bit like a show about someone who fights crime with a phone that fits in their pocket, but honestly, is there anything as ‘80s as a show that revolves around the bromance between a man and his car?
This year marks 40 years since Kitt took to the roads,...

It’s tough to think of ABC‘s long-running daytime drama General Hospital without Genie Francis — the actress started playing Laura Collins (formerly Laura Spencer) in 1977 and, of course, burst to superstardom once she was paired with Anthony Geary‘s Luke Spencer. But the Luke and Laura days are behind us and Francis has stayed on the front burner with a juicy story involving a few brothers she didn’t know she had. The Emmy-winning actress took a break from the show this summer, but upon her recent return, we learned Laura has been in hiding with brother Martin (Michael E. Knight). Danger then found them last week in the form of Martin being attacked, and it may be time to head back home. In a chat with TV Insider, Francis talked about her love for Laura’s story with both Martin and villainous sibling Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober). Of...

Who were the best LGBTQ couples in daytime soap opera history? The sad truth is that there aren’t that many to choose from. Despite the shows dipping their toes in the water with queer characters and storylines in the 1990s — like Ryan Phillippe as groundbreaking gay teen Billy Douglas on “One Life to Live” from 1992 to 1993 — the show shied away from romance for its queer characters until the 21st century.
