Tagline: "Someone's Watching Over You." A few more details have emerged for Michael Bafaro's Amber's Descent. Shot in Vancouver, this feature will have a March release across the United States, through Breaking Glass Pictures. In the film, a reclusive pianist composes a new composition. But, somehow this composition takes on a life of its own. The film's U.S. release details are here. Amber's Descent hosts a small cast. Kayla Stanton ("Supernatural") stars as protagonist Amber. Meanwhile actor Michael Mitton (Flu) plays Jim, a local Handyman. Don Knodel and Nathaniel Vossen round out the cast as all of these characters experience a strange, supernatural phenomenon -within Amber's music. Breaking Glass Pictures will host the film's release this March 23rd. To show on both Digital platforms and DVD, this horror title will be available on: Amazon, iTunes, Google Play, Vudu, Fandango, Xbox and InDemand. Amber’s Descent kicks off with some Rosemary’s Baby style music and a too long to read quote from Beethoven… Which puts one on edge straight away, as I am here to be entertained by a thriller, not get an eye test.
Our glamourous and aspirational Amber is visiting an enormous home in the mountains. Amber is a composer, and somehow earns enough, in her twenties to afford this enormous home with panoramic views. As Amber is being shown the home, by the estate agent, the home is already curiously inhabited with books, a piano that all seems very suited to Amber. She is told that anything in the house can be included in the asking price.
We get flashes of a trauma that Amber has suffered,...

Primarily shot in one location, the film's story revolves around pianist Amber Waltz and a symphony that is writing itself. From director Micheal Bafaro, this title centrally stars: Kayla Stanton ("Supernatural"), Michael Mitton (Flu) and Don Knodel. In 1983, viewers saw the tire-squealing rage of a jealous ’58 Plymouth Fury in John Carpenter’s Christine, based on the Stephen King novel. Three years later, King himself directed Maximum Overdrive, in which everything from pop machines to semi-trucks followed their own deadly agendas. Now XLrator Media is tossing their film reel into the ring of vehicle-centric horror films with Wrecker, due out next summer.
