- Paula is a Portuguese American Actress and Producer, whose birth name is Paula Maria Esteves Labaredas. She was born in a small town in Portugal in her Grandmother's home. At the age of two her family migrated to America for a better life. When Paula arrived in America and was going through customs she lost consciousness and stopped breathing. A nurse on site attempted to revive her but failed and she was declared deceased. Miraculously moments later Paula regained consciousness.
Her family resided in Bridgeport, Connecticut, where she attended School. While going to Grammar school she took Catechism and Portuguese classes for six years, where she learned how to read and write Portuguese. She attended Sacred Heart University and studied Social Work. Her internship included working with AIDS Patients, the homeless and people with substance abuse problems. While in College she got involved in the Theatre Program and performed in numerous plays.
Growing up, Paula always enjoyed the arts. She briefly studied dance, was involved with the school choir, painted with acrylics, practiced singing and writing songs by herself, and wrote poems and a children's book in her Creative Writing class. Way before Iphones where invented, Paula and her friends would go around filming scenarios with their VHS Film Camera. In High School, Paula produced her very first project on Teenage Pregnancy that aired on her local news station.
As of now Paula is most known for a parody she created called, Selfie Girl a Barbie Girl Parody. She starred and produced a web series with Richard Hatch, called The Silicon Assassin Project. She co-produced a documentary on Cosplay called, ComicCosplay. As a model, Paula has been featured on numerous blogs such as Sports Illustrated and has appeared in publications regularly. With films you can touch millions of lives year after year, 50 years from now, 100 years from now. With film, you capture moments that remain forever...you can be part of history forever.
