- Hans Lang was born on July 5, 1908 in Vienna, Austria-Hungary [now Austria]. He was a composer and writer, known for God Bless America (2011), Ice Princess (2005) and Der Hofrat Geiger (1947). He died on January 28, 1992 in Vienna, Austria.
- After his temporary first work for a movie it lasted eleven years before he became active again for the film, this time as a film composer.
- He wrote one operetta, the musikalisches Lustspiel, 'Lisa, benimm dich!', which premiered in Vienna on 21 March 1939.
- His last cinematical works came in the 60's into being with his music for "Mariandl" (1961) and "Mariandls Rückkehr" (1962) with singer / actress Conny Froboess in the leading role.
- The composer Hans Lang already worked for the medium film in the 20's but not as a composer but a screen writer for the silent movie "Haifische der Nachkriegszeit" (1926).
