Jimmy Kimmel is clarifying there’s one iconic burger joint in Los Angeles that’s become a staple for celebrities on Oscars night.
Ahead of hosting the Academy Awards for the fourth time on March 10, he told People magazine, “The award show tradition is In-n-Out after the show.”
Kimmel explained the reason he believes it has become a tradition post-award shows is “because when people are in L.A., one of the things on their list is to go to In-n-Out — and there are a lot of people that are in L.A. just for the Oscars — so they wind up going like, ‘Okay.’”
He added, “Also, you get very hungry, so In-n-Out is definitely the award show tradition. Nothing against McDonald’s, but on award show night, it’s In-n-Out.”
Most recently, Paul Giamatti was spotted at an In-n-Out in Westwood after taking home the Golden Globe for best male actor in a motion picture,...

UTA partner Keya Khayatian and actress-filmmaker Zar Amir Ebrahimi are both from Iran but left the country under somewhat traumatic circumstances: Khayatian as a child with his parents fleeing the Islamic Revolution and Ebrahimi in 2008 when she ran afoul of the conservative regime and faced blacklisting and imprisonment. Now based in France, the latter has rebuilt her career and in 2022 became the first Iranian performer to win best actress at Cannes with her role as a journalist investigating a serial killer targeting sex workers in Holy Spider.

Selena Gomez Can’t Seem to Quit Social Media
“Giving up smoking is the easiest thing in the world. I know because I’ve done it thousands of times.” The words of Mark Twain work surprisingly well when applied to Selena Gomez’s relationship with social media. The most followed woman on Instagram, fresh from a viral moment at the Golden Globes where she whispered something to Taylor Swift, announced to 428 million Ig followers on Jan. 9 that she’s “off social media for a while” to focus on “what really matters” (with a pic of music producer boyfriend Benny Blanco). Her fans were less than shocked because it’s far from the first time the 31-year-old has put her phone face-down: She did it in 2018, in 2020, in February and again in November after receiving backlash over comments about the conflict between Israel and Hamas. “I’m done. I don’t...

Actress Claire Foy is ready and braced for a lot of personal reactions to her latest film All of Us Strangers. Adapted from Taichi Yamada’s novel Strangers, writer-director Andrew Haigh’s emotional reimagining finds gay screenwriter Adam (Andrew Scott) working on a script inspired by a devastating personal tragedy: in the early ’80s, both his parents died in a car crash when he was just 12. Seeking inspiration, Adam travels back to his childhood neighborhood where he encounters his parents (Claire Foy and Jamie Bell) — not only still living in his former home but looking exactly the same as the last time he saw them.
Deadline: How did you first hear about All of Us Strangers?
Claire Foy: It was actually three or four months before we started shooting. One of my agents, Billy Lazarus, had a very, very emotional response to it, and I knew that it was something quite special.

He added: "There's definitely a wave of Brits doing great work on American television, and I wouldn't mind being one of them! I signed with Billy Lazarus at UTA [United Talent Agency] and hope to be auditioning here when we're not shooting." (more)...
