Native New Yorker with many stage credits on Broadway and regional
theatres. He was once in two plays in New York simultaneously: "Butley"
at the Morsoco Theatre and "Plow and the Stars" at Lincoln
Center.
Played son to both Barnard Hughes and Brian Keith in "Da" on
Broadway.
Played General McClellan in Gore Vidal's miniseries Lincoln (1988) alongside Sam Waterston, whom he would co-star with in Law & Order later.
Has been doing voice overs and narration regularly since the
seventies.
Has two daughters by an earlier marriage: Deborah and Rebecca
