Ladies’ Home Journal is ending monthly publication after 131 years, parent company Meredith said Thursday. The magazine's entire editorial staff, including its editor-in-chief, Sally Lee, has been laid off. The media company announced the magazine will “transition to a special interest publication” and publish quarterly. Home Journal and The Moms hosted a special screening of the upcoming motion picture drama Won.T Back Down for hundreds of women bloggers in New York City on Friday, August 3rd at the Nyit Auditorium. The screening was followed by a Q&A with the film.s stars, Viola Davis, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Rosie Perez, as well as director and co-screenwriter Daniel Barnz.
