In 1985, wanting to further his knowledge of musical arrangements, jazz and film scoring, he left for Los Angeles, and spent seven years studying there, between the "Grove School of Music", "U.C.L.A.", and the film music workshop at "B.M.I." He received his diplomas in 1986 and 1988.
Back in France, he entered a three year course studying at the "Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris", to complete his classical training in Conducting, Composition, Counterpoint & Fugue, Piano, and Musicology. He graduated in 1998 in Conducting and Composition.
