- Frank enjoyed a career in advertising once the acting roles had dried up. He used to run various production companies in the eighties and through the nineties. At one point he was head of TV at London's AMV.BBDO advertising group.
- At one point was auditioning for the role of James Bond in 1968. The role eventually went to newcomer George Lazenby (On Her Majesty's Secret Service).
- From March 2004 Frank was put in charge of the TV department at leading London Ad agency McCann Erickson. (Apparently lured out of retirement).
- A veteran TV producer, Lieberman was at AMV for more than 15 years and is credited with overhauling its TV department in the 90s. He joined London Ad agency Abbott Mead Vickers in 1987, when the agency was known mainly for being a press advertising agency. Under his guardianship, it was crowned Most Successful Agency at the British Television Advertising Awards in 1996.
