[on her character in The Strain] She's a real strong character. She's a wonderful professional. She can hold her own. And just having a really active female role in a world of men - in The Strain, the books and the TV show, there are very masculine roles - so for her to survive and do her job, she has to be super-strong. From a female actor point of view, that's the kind of role I love to do. It's a lot more fun with a lot more to bring to the table. Nora is kind of indicative of how many new roles are being written for women, in television and film, but mainly television.
