- Annie Markart was born on August 5, 1907 in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. She was an actress, known for Im weißen Rößl (1935), An Ideal Spouse (1935) and Die Welt ohne Maske (1934). She was married to Alexander Golling and Herbert Selpin. She died on January 23, 1991 in Munich, Germany.

- Fair-haired German supporting actress, at her peak in the mid-1930's. A builder's daughter, she was trained as a singer and ballet dancer, first performing on stage in revues and operettas. On screen from 1930, she was invariably cast in engagingly amiable roles as the 'girl next door', or employed for musical interludes. Her acting career declined after the war and she found work as an interpreter.
