Jackie Fullerton once interviewed him on
Good Evening Ulster (1978). Fullerton asked him the inevitable question about whether wrestling is predetermined/choreographed. Haystacks offered to walk him through one of his regular moves, a piledriver. He lifted Fullerton up seven feet and dropped him on the padded mat. Fullerton was left groaning in agony, and Haystacks said that he should be following with the belly flop to be sure. Haystacks' point, that even prearranged and choreographed moves can still hurt, was made.
