Broadcasted New York Yankees Baseball for 18 seasons 1967-1985. Was Abruptly dismissed and offered a front-office job with the club but declined. Took a job with the Chicago White Sox, broadcasting their games for two seasons. Then came back to New York to Emcee the Anual Yankees Old Timers game.
Fellow Broadcaster Bill White gave up the microphone showing real class by having Frank Messer call the final three outs of Dave Righetti's July 4,1983 No-Hitter against Boston. A personal proud moment in his career.
