Graduated from the University of Southern California in 1931 with a
degree in monoeconomics and polyscience.
After her film career petered out, she performed horse riding acts for circuses, including S.L. Cronin, Al Dean and C. R. Montgomery's Wild Animal Circus.
Leading lady of Monogram, PRC and Republic westerns. An expert horsewoman, she did most of her own stunts, often using her own pinto 'Sonny'.
A USC graduate, she worked from 1946 as a seventh and eighth grade teacher and sometime principal in the Californian educational system.
