At the age of 9 Jed Mortenson stole his parents Super 8 movie camera
and began making films. After a semester suspension for a pyrotechnic
experiment gone awry, Mortenson graduated cum laude from the University
of Southern California's prestigious School of Cinema Television. He
has since garnered extensive experience ranging from big budget
features to tiny indie films, from broadcast commercials to corporate
video. In 2000 Mortenson directed and produced the indie feature 'North
Beach' along with fellow USC alum Richard Speight, Jr. He then worked
on various projects in the San Francisco Bay Area for corporate clients
such as Silicon Graphics, Hyatt Hotels, Fairmont Hotels, Boston
Scientific, and Shutterfly to name a few. In 2008 Mortenson produced
the indie feature 'Woodshop' starring Jesse Ventura, Mitch Pileggi, and
the late Don S. Davis.
