In 1929 Moser co-founded a new animation studio with Paul Terry and producer Joseph Coffman under the name Moser-Terry-Coffman Productions. Coffman sold his interests in 1930 and the company was renamed Terrytoons. Their films were released by Educational Pictures, which in turn had Fox Films (later 20th Century-Fox) as its distributor. In 1936 Terry bought out Moser, who then retired from animation.
