For filmmaker Denny Tedesco, making the 2015 film The Wrecking Crew, about a renowned group of L.A. session musicians that backed everyone from The Mamas & the Papas to The Beach Boys, was personal. He’s the son of Tommy Tedesco, after all — a Wrecking Crew guitarist and one of the prolific axemen in history — and sought to give dad his due.
Now, Tedesco is shining a light on a new, underappreciated group of session musicians in Immediate Family, a group that backed the likes of Steve Nicks, the Rolling Stones,...

Fleetwood’s on Front Street, the Maui restaurant owned by Mick Fleetwood since 2012, was destroyed in the wildfires sweeping the island.
The restaurant announced the news on Instagram. “As many of you have probably seen on the news, Lahaina Town has suffered tremendous damage and with that Fleetwoods on Front Street has been lost. Words can not express the devastation that our community is facing right now,” the business wrote.
Fleetwood’s continued, “Our main priority at the moment is the safety of our team members and staff. We appreciate your support and patience as we navigate this difficult terrain. Mahalo.”
Bandmate Steve Nicks, who also has a home on Maui, penned an emotional note about the island’s connection to Fletwood Mac. “This island, in so many ways, defines Fleetwood Mac and me and our families. Mick and I came here in 1978, went up to Kula to look at a huge,...

Another American Horror Story alum has signed on for the show’s newest season, Hotel, and Ryan Murphy wasn’t even the one to tweet out this casting announcement. According to EW.com (and then seemingly confirmed by the show’s Twitter), Ahs veteran Lily Rabe will appear in the latest season of the horror anthology series, playing a character that will be reportedly be a serial killer (because every season of American Horror Story needs at least one of those). Currently starring in ABC’s summer drama The Whispers, Rabe is certainly no stranger to the American Horror Story universe. Not only is she an alum of the FX series, but she has appeared in every season of the show up until this point, reprising her Season 2 role as Sister Mary Eunice in last fall’s Freak Show, playing the ghost of insane mother Nora Montgomery in Season 1’s Murder House,...

The third installment of Ryan Murphy’s "American Horror Story" was a charm for James Levine as he reaped his first Emmy nomination for composing the music score to FX’s "Coven." -Break- Levine submitted the miniseries supremely competitive finale "The Seven Wonders" to Emmy judges, which opens with Stevie Nicks performing her original song of the same title. Levine admitted that having his music follow such a legend made him a bit nervous: "You feel there’s a responsibility. You want to make sure that you can stand by it 100% and just know that you've literally been as truthful and honest with your music as she has with hers." Luckily, he doesn't have to worry about Steve Nicks competing alongside him in the race for Best Music Composition for a Miniseries, Movie or a Special (Original Dramatic Score), but he does face other stiff competition: Ludovic Bource ("Clear History&quo.

A new, fan-made teaser for American Horror Story: Freakshow substitutes star power for a seriously creepy tone.
The moody sneak peek, made by fans and released Sunday, shows an angel somberly flapping her feathered wings as an eerie piano ballad plays in the background. Seems innocent enough – until an evil mime pops up, pulling the strings behind the whole spooky spectacle.
The scary preview makes sense given the fourth season's fresh setting: a Florida carnival in the 1950s.
Wondering where the show's recurring cast members (Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson, Emma Roberts and Gabourey Sidibe, to name a few) are?...

It’s a real shame that no one has thought to craft a trailer for Doug Liman‘s Edge of Tomorrow set to the all-soaring, all-twirling charms of Steve Nicks’ “Edge of Seventeen.” Perhaps this latest trailer for the Tom Cruise-starring future-set actioner will provide the mash-up geeks out there with more material for such a dreamy scenario, but for now, we’re stuck with the clanging sounds and cool kid techno tones of one hell of a weird future. In the film — previously titled All You Need Is Kill, lest you get confused about why a film about deja vu sounds so weirdly familiar, though with the wrong title — Cruise stars as “not a soldier” Lt. Col. Bill Cage (not a soldier? weird about that military rank then), a man who gets trapped in time loop that keeps bringing him back to the same day. It’s like Groundhog Day, but...

Queen Bey has earned the respect of a living legend—and with good reason! Speaking to the U.K.'s Telegraph on Sunday, Sept. 15, veteran rocker Steve Nicks praised the "Grown Woman" singer for remaining level-headed and humble since she burst onto the music scene with Destiny's Child in 1998. "Beyoncé's great. She's got her alter ego [Sasha Fierce], but Beyoncé the girl, the woman, is very sweet and nice and polite," raved Nicks, 65. "She's a good role model. She's not skanky. I'm glad we have her." Nicks met the R&B diva in 2001 when she appeared in Destiny's Child's "Bootylicious" music video; the popular song samples her own...

What had ETonline readers buzzing this week?
1. 'Pitch Perfect 2' Coming in 2015!
How's this for aca-mazing news?
The head of Universal Pictures just revealed Pitch Perfect 2 is coming ... in 2015. Ok, so that seems like an awfully long time to wait for a sequel to 2012's most rocking cinematic experience, but I guess you can't rush perfection.
While it's unknown if the original cast will reprise their roles (odds are on Rebel Wilson returning for sure), the sequel will also be written by Kay Cannon.
2. Ozzy O. Denies Divorce, Admits to Drug Relapse
Amidst rumors that his 31-year marriage was on the rocks, rocker Ozzy Osbourne came to the defense of his relationship with wife Sharon Monday night, meanwhile dropping the bombshell that for more than a year, he has been "in a dark place" due to a relapse with alcohol and drugs.
The 64-year-old singer, who has a history of substance abuse, took to his...

Steve Nicks' alluring life filled with the many escapades she's endured as the lead vocalist of Fleetwood Mac and a solo artist urges to one day be adapted into a biopic. Nicks had originally tabbed Reese Witherspoon to play her on the big screen, but she is now repealing her as her selection.
"I've already told [Reese] she’s almost too old," Nicks told Et Canada at the Toronto premiere of her new documentary, In Your Dreams.

Although Nicks says in the documentary, which tracks the making of her 2011 album of the same name, that she wants the 37-year-old actress to represent her in a film, she appears to have second-guessed herself in the time that has passed.
"I love her, but she's like, 'I could play your mother.' I'm like 'O.K,'" the 64-year-old singer-songwriter said.

For many, independent film is synonymous with movies that deal with depressing subject matter Hollywood is too timid to tackle. And given the Sundance Film Festival's stature as the world's most important independent film festival, those same people probably see the annual Park City event as one where only sad works come to nest.
Well, they couldn't be further from the truth. Because for every dreary Sundance hit like "Like Crazy" or "Precious," there are countless ones like "Little Miss Sunshine" and "Clerks" that provide a sense of joy in place of a good cry. With this year's edition of the festival just days away from launching, here's our list of the ten least depressing-sounding movies premiering in Park City.
1. 'Austenland'

Stevie Nicks is an angry gypsy queen! Stevie may have been a guest mentor for last season's American Idol contestants but the 64-year-old icon says she is glad she isn’t involved this year due to trash-talking Nicki Minaj. Whoa, the ethereal songbird’s talons are out! Stevie, are you trying to subtly tell us you don’t like Nicki Minaj? Because if you are, I am definitely picking up what you are putting down.

Pacific Palisades, CA, United States (Ahn Entertainment) - Former Fleetwood Mac singer Steve Nicks says she believes being addicted to prescription drugs for years prevented her from having a baby.
In an exclusive interview with Fox411's Pop Tarts in Pacific Palisades, Nicks said she regrets taking medication to help her cocaine addiction because it "ruined" a big part of her life.
"The only thing I would change is walking into that psychiatrists office who prescribed me Klonopin," she said. "That ruined my life for eight years."
Now at age 62, Nicks said Klonopin, which is a tranquilizer generally used to treat seizures and panic disorder, was not for her.
