Reece Young is an emerging artist with a love of anime that he wears on his sleeve. If you follow his social media accounts, you’ll notice something anime related either on him or in the background of most of his posts. Which is why it makes so much sense for his new single, “Am I Wrong” to be featured here on Crunchyroll! But does anime work its way into his music in other ways? Read our conversation with him below and keep that new single spinning! What is your anime origin story? Reece : It’s actually been a pretty recent addition in my life. But I hit a certain age and had a, I don’t know, I guess a mindset shift and now I’m all about it. It was probably right before and definitely during our long lockdown, I tossed on Naruto . Now I have four...

Everything wrapped up happily in Young Royals‘ final episode. Previously in the series, in episodes 1–5, we came to know that Wilhelm’s brave yet problematic speech on embracing his sexuality caused a stir at Hillerska Boarding School. The school had been facing a difficult time, as the board wanted to close it. In the meantime, Wilhelm and Simon were also having serious problems in their relationship because there was a vast difference in their social status as well as ideologies. Simon wanted to stay away from Wilhelm’s royal family and especially his elite class problems, which Simon couldn’t relate to. On the other hand, Wilhelm also felt that the distance between him and his lover had been increasing. So, one day, when Simon told him that their relationship hadn’t been working out, it didn’t come as a shock for Wilhelm, even though it crushed his heart...

The debate over “Who is the better Superman?” is one that has been raging for as long as one can remember. Ever since David Corenswet was officially announced as the replacement for Henry Cavill in the iconic role in James Gunn’s version of the DC Universe, fans have been conflicted about who the better one is.
(L-r): Henry Cavill and David Corenswet
While this debate is yet to be sorted out with a final answer, there have been quite some additions to this debate. Like the most recent raging one about whose symbol is better between the two hotshots, one of whose is from the SnyderVerse, while the other is from Gunn’s universe. And this time, most fans seem to have the final answer.
Hot Topic: Whose Superman Symbol is Better — Henry Cavill’s or David Corenswet’s?
Recently, another hot debate has taken the DC fans by storm.

Madame Web was a huge disappointment for Marvel fans. It had an exceptional cast of actors, including Dakota Johnson, Sydney Sweeney, Adam Scott, and Emma Roberts. On top of this, the film was an entire project centered in the world of Spider-People, and the last project to do something like this, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, was extremely successful.
Despite this, the film was severely criticized in every aspect. So much so, that it became one of the worst-doing films in Marvel history, even having a budget of only $80 million.
Madame Web
While these unfortunate predispositions may lead to the film having no chance at having any future parts, fans have come up with the perfect plot for its sequel. Interestingly enough, it completely relies on the film’s deceased villain and a character from Tom Hardy’s Venom.

Romy has revealed that The xx are back in the studio working on their fourth album.
The singer, songwriter, and producer confirmed the news at Australia’s Beyond the Valley Festival last weekend, telling NME that the trio’s sessions are feeling “quite wide open” at the moment: “I think Oliver [Sim] and Jamie [xx] and I have all tried new things and learned a lot from different projects and I think that’s quite healthy to be like, ‘What have you learned? What should we do now?'”
Though Romy’s 2023 debut solo album, Mid Air, fell firmly in the tradition of house and dance music, she said to NME last year that she’d be picking up the guitar once again for the trio’s next project. Regarding how the next xx album will sound, Romy shared that while it’s still “wide open” and early on in the process,...

Common discussed his role as Robert Sims in the Apple TV+ series Silo in his new exclusive uInterview.
He explained how he was able to find humanity in his character, who is the head security of the law enforcement that proceeds over the silo.
“Robert Sims is a person that cares about his family and he actually cares about the well-being of the silo,” said Common. “So that to me is a human being in itself, you know you’ll see he has his son, he has you know a family. And he also has a job to protect the people of the silo.”
He described that it was difficult at first for him to understand Sim’s humanity because it took him a minute to understand Sims as a person. As he learned more about his character he was able to understand that Sims does, “the things that [are] necessary,...

The entire cast of 1997’s feel-good hit “The Full Monty” is back for Hulu’s new series of the same name — even Wim Snape, who played young Nathan at age 11, returns to play the much more sensible son of Robert Carlyle’s charming but unreliable Gaz. But some things are different this time around as the crew reunites for the Hulu sequel series (which drops June 14), with Oscar-nominated scripter Simon Beaufoy co-writing with Alice Nutter.
The series finds the crew still trying various get-rich schemes with mixed to dismal results. The movie, which saw the unemployed steelworkers of Sheffield secretly becoming strippers to raise some cash — and their low self-esteem —ended on a high as the lads gave the enthusiastic hometown audience “the full monty,” that is, full frontal nudity.
Ahead of the premiere, TheWrap spoke with Carlyle and Snape, as well as returning stars Mark Addy as lovably glum Dave,...

The absurd action-comedy Mrs. Davis has reached its final episode, and many of our questions have been answered. This show really grows on you with lovable characters and hope for Simone to find the love she needs by the end of it. The AI-fighting Nun will supposedly not be returning for a second season, but we’re sure that everyone wants some more of Simone’s charm. Let’s figure out how satisfying the ending of Mrs. Davis is!
What Happens In ‘Mrs. Davis’ Episode 8?
We finally understand how it all started, and it’s not even remotely what we expected it to be. The creator of Mrs. Davis is Joy, a simple yet ambitious woman who essentially created the future—an app for Buffalo Wings—that was too incredible for, well, Buffalo Wings. Joy’s app was meant to provide mutual aid for people through acts of service, mobilizing humans to perform these acts.

Why are they wasting our time?
The hour tried to build up this momentum and conflict by teasing the return of Helen during New Amsterdam Season 5 Episode 11. Frankly, it was not only insulting and a poor attempt at drumming up drama and interest, but it was just pointless.
But then, so much of the arc that revolved around the character's assassination closure has felt frustrating and pointless. In the end, it was so predictable that the hour could've excluded it altogether and ended with the expected Max and Wilder kiss.
The hour had its amusing moments. Ben remains one of the best scene-stealers, and it's hard not to smile whenever Ben tries to navigate Max and Wilder's awkwardness.
Floyd and Max's friendship is always endearing, and Eggold and Sim's natural chemistry as friends offscreen always shines through during their scenes together.

Fans of the German series “1899,” which Netflix opted not to renew for a second season on Monday, are blasting the streamer for its cancellation, which is merely the latest in a string of axings.
“Oh #Netflix say it ain’t so! Why are you doing this to us?? What a farce,” wrote @Atreya300.
Another fan pointed was puzzled because initial ratings for “1899” were so promising. The series from “Dark” co-creators” Baran Bo Odar and Jantje Friese debuted in second place in November.

Spend any time talking with those in the documentary sector, and they’ll lament how hard it is to land commissions without having a celebrity aboard – a precondition that invariably impacts on journalistic rigour.
If you’re seeking the greenlight for a magazine show on 21st century sexuality, however, attaching model-turned-actor Cara Delevingne, polysexual pin-up and three-time Eyebrows of the Year winner, isn’t the worst idea. The pros and cons of “Planet Sex,” a new six-part Hulu/BBC co-production (Hulu’s version will air in 2023 as Americans will get a different version of the show that’s still being edited), are tied up with Delevingne’s game, anything-goes persona, here recruited in a bid to distract 18-to-25-year-olds from Tinder-pounding. As Cara puts it early on: “Let’s get the 101 on the power packed in our pants.” Anyone cringing should know: a) you’re likely outside the target audience,...

Space is an incredibly important aspect when it comes to creating atmosphere in a horror movie. Many directors have understood that idea as they made unforgettable entries within the genre, relying to a certain extent on the place where they were shot. However, when it comes to the haunted house category, especially when it is blended with the found-footage sub-genre, many screenwriters and directors tend to use real or lost places in order to create suspense and a creepy atmosphere from the start on. Given its emphasis on genre cinema, it is no surprise the South Korean film industry have jumped on the band wagon with features such as “Gonjiam: Haunted Asylum” or “The Grotesque Mansion”. It is also a genre which director Sim Deok-Geun belongs to with “Guimoon: The Lightless Door”, a horror feature combining a haunted location, parallel narratives as well as light found-footage-esque scenes.
