Beau DeMayo included a lot of cameos in X-Men ’97, all of which were welcomed by fans with a lot of fanfare. Be it Captain America, who got the most screentime on the show among the non-x-Men related cast, or Peter Parker, and Mary Jane, which neatly wrapped up the cliffhanger from Spider-Man: The Animated Series, the show did a tremendous job of showing us how the world was populated bu heroes other than the X-Men, who were out on their missions, presenting a living and breathing superhero universe.

Chadwick Boseman’s Black Panther remains one of the best-realised versions of the character in recent history. Black Panther is a popular character who has made multiple appearances in some of Marvel’s greatest projects, be it Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, Iron Man: Armoured Adventures, or even the upcoming video game Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra.

However, the last episode has upset a ton of fans thanks to a cameo which none of them expected to go down the way it did.
