Charley Parlapanides was born in Toms River, New Jersey, USA. He is a writer and producer, known for Blood of Zeus (2020), Death Note (2017) and Immortals (2011). He attended and graduated from Central Regional High School, Swarthmore College and Loyola Law School. He has been married to Elenie Syrengelas since 2006.
Charles Parlapanides was a four year starter at defensive end for the
Swarthmore College football team. He was a defensive captain and a
first team All-ECAC selection his senior year.
His first film, IMMORTALS (2011), was nominated for several Saturn Awards, including Best Fantasy Film. It also made a dozen Top Ten lists .
Is 100% Greek and grew up with Demetri Martin, whose father was the priest of their church in Toms River, NJ.
