- Has two daughters - Francesca-Robyn and Marney Peppiatt.
- Began his entertainment industry career in the 1950s in Toronto, the city he was born, where he and John Aylesworth created and starred in the first Canadian variety show, After Hours (1953), on CBC. Peppiatt and Aylesworth also appeared on the show, as well on their CBC creation On Stage (1954). Much later, Peppiatt had a recurring role as Admiral Frank Borkman on the ABC sitcom Operation Petticoat (1977).

- Frank Peppiatt had three daughters from his first marriage from Marilyn Frederickson, a daughter of NHL Hall of Fame great Frank Frederickson. His middle daughter, Melissa Alix (Peppiatt) MacIsaac, died 6 October 2000 of a heart attack at her home in Meadowvale, Ontario, Canada. She was forty-two years old and left behind a husband and two children.
