The Sons of the Pioneers were awarded a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for Recording at 6843 Hollywood Boulevard in Hollywood, California.
The original Sons of the Pioneers consisted of Leonard Slye (better known later as
Roy Rogers
: 1911-1998),
Bob Nolan
(1908-1980) and
Tim Spencer
(1908-1974). Later members were
Lloyd Perryman
(1917-1977),
Hugh Farr
(1903-1980),
Karl Farr
(1909-1961),
Shug Fisher

Ken Carson

Pat Brady
.
The original sextet was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame (1980).
