Sarah Michelle Gellar is back in the spotlight after a few years of relative silence. Her new series Wolf Pack is making big waves. The actor, who became a cultural icon after the popularity of her ’90s breakout Buffy the Vampire Slayer, has remained closely associated with the series over the years, with many fans turning to her to set the record straight regarding the show’s controversies. Still, there’s one incident that Gellar is planning to keep her silence on — and that’s the scandal involving Buffy creator Joss Whedon, who was the target of some very concerning allegations.

One of the few good things you can say about the current state of the entertainment industry is that it’s gradually becoming less of a safe haven for abusers. One of the latest set of allegations, levelled against one-time geek god Joss Whedon, have now been furthered by a stunt team couple from Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
Sophia Crawford, who performed as Sarah Michelle Gellar’s stunt double throughout Buffy’s first four seasons, and Jeff Pruitt, who was the series’ stunt coordinator from the beginning of season 2 to the end of season 4, met on the show’s set and began dating. Pruitt eventually found the working environment untenable and left the series after Whedon grew into “a real egomaniac who believed his own hype” and “tensions grew and certain members of the crew began to plot against each other.”
Crawford was asked to return to continue portraying the blonde badass’ more dangerous moments,...

Jeff Pruitt, who was the stunt coordinator for Buffy The Vampire Slayer during its early years, has given fans a real treat this week. Over 30 minutes of behind the scenes footage from the set of Season 2 of Buffy, all never before seen.
I haven’t been able to sit and watch it yet, but it appears to have a lot of gems that will make you yearn for Buffy to be back on the air, or have you grabbing for your DVD collection.
Buffy The Vampire Slayer, of course, was created by Joss Whedon and starred Sarah Michelle Gellar, David Boreanaz, Alyson Hannigan, James Marsters, Nicholas Brendon, Anthony Head, Seth Green, and oh, so many more. Thanks to IGN for the heads up.

Here's something neat for our fellow "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" fans... though it's been a long while (too long in fact) since we've seen anything new from the famed cult classic TV show (how we miss it), IGN has clued us in on quite the find.
"Jeff Pruitt, who served as stunt coordinator for Buffy the Vampire Slayer for the first several seasons of the show, has given fans a pretty cool new (to us!) video to check out. Pruitt has posted a video on YouTube comprised of behind-the-scenes footage, mostly shot by Pruitt himself, during Season 2 of Buffy."
Nice! Hopefully more stuff like this will surface, and hey, Sarah Michelle and company... would it be so bad to have a reunion movie instead of the remake? A lot of fans would be happy to know where these characters are today, and sorry, but the comics aren't exactly cutting the mustard.

The discover of the day goes to our pal Eric Goldman at IGN who recently ran roughly 30 minutes of Buffy the Vampire Slayer behind-the-scenes footage which has been unseen until now. This must-see video for Buffy fans can be found after the jump. The footage was uploaded by stunt coordinator Jeff Pruitt. There's a lot to chew on here and the whole gang is represented. Great stuff!

New "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" behind-the-scenes footage has surfaced and it is amazing.
The Season 2 home videos come courtesy of Jeff Pruitt, who served as the show's stunt coordinator from 1997-2000.
In the video above, Sarah Michelle Gellar practices ice skating, Seth Green speaks in a variety of voices in werewolf makeup, Alyson Hannigan and David Boreanaz toss around a football (in costume) and those are just a few of the highlights. The video also features a look at some of "Buffy's" big Season 2 moments, including that epic sword fight between her and Angel.
The 10th anniversary of the "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" series finale recently passed and Gellar told The Huffington Post she only has the fondest memories when asked about the anniversary. "I'm incredibly proud of that show -- proud of everybody on it, of what we did ... You can't be prouder of that show," she said.

These days we see a lot of behind the scenes videos and featurettes for movies. It has become part of the marketing campaign from the studios. They didn't really do this kind of thing back in the day, but we've got something for all of you die-hard Buffy the Vampire Slayer fans! This incredibly fun 30-minute behind the scenes video is sure to make fans of the series giddy. I had a great time watching this!
The video was uploaded by stunt coordinator Jeff Pruitt, and it's from the second season. It features several members of the cast and crew, and includes footage of stunts, fighting, shooting scenes, costumes, and lots of fun goofiness.
Here's a explanation of the video:
During season 2 we were trying to promote the show so I had various crew and cast members talk to the camera directly to the fans. This was a time before...
