- Liza Randol, now known as Liz Randol, grew up on the East Coast, studied political science with Howard Zinn at Boston University, and psychology at Sarah Lawrence College and UC Santa Cruz. While at UCSC she met Lorraine Kahn, with whom she later worked on THE LIFE AND TIMES OF ROSIE THE RIVETER. Lorraine introduced her to AMERICAN ZOETROPE, where she worked for Francis Coppola in the editing facility on staff for a few years while APOCALYPSE NOW and THE BLACK STALLION were in production.
She then moved to Los Angeles during the 80s, joined IATSE while working on WAR GAMES, then worked on THE NATURAL, MR MOM and THE BOY WHO COULD FLY and a few music videos before moving to Santa Fe to become a Shamanic Healer.
She has several scripts in various stages. GRACE AND THE GRAIL (a modern day and past life story about women's spirituality, based on 12th century French history, the Knights Templar, Cathars and Black Madonnas) is complete and available for production and representation. DOLPHINGRRLS is a true story about recent Hawaiian history, people of various racial groups working together to stop military expansion in the Islands.
