New documentary Millennium After the Millennium looks back at Chris Carter’s beloved series and mulls its future potential
“Aliens and Near Dark star Lance Henriksen plays an ex-fbi agent who peers inside the minds of criminals and works for a sinister organization, all wrapped up in a viciously gory and supernatural bow” ...if you found out this was a brand new show about to materialize on TV this year, you’d get excited, so it’s easy to see why fans of Chris Carter’s dark-as-hell late-90s series Millennium still miss it so much.
Millennium, which ran for three seasons on Fox between 1996 and 1999 before being canceled as ratings dwindled, was a project aimed at letting the creator of The X-Files truly scare himself (and us) during an era when he was objectively at the height of his success, and the series welcomed a huge...

Starring: Dean Winters (Trevor Gooden), Ashley Laurence (Kirsty Cotton Gooden), William Taylor (Detective Lange), Michael Rogers (Detective Givens), Doug Bradley (Pinhead/Merchant), Rachel Hayward (Dr. Allison Dormer), Trevor White (Bret), Sarah-Jane Redmond (Gwen Stevens), Jody Thompson (Tawny), Kaaren de Zilva (Sage),
After how much I loved the last sequel, I had high expectations for this one. Upon reading up on it, I assumed it would be similar in style to the prior sequel and it did indeed follow a similar format that is more psychological in nature. I wound up liking this one as well though not as much as “Inferno.” Sadly, just like “Inferno”, this movie was also released straight to video and was not given a theatrical release.
The movie begins with Trevor Gooden married to Kirsty Cotton, from the first three “Hellraiser” movies.

If you haven’t been to the Back to Frank Black site, go now and download the audio recordingsof several Millennium cast members reciting poems and stories. The recordings were done in honor of The Curse of Frank Black Week–the site’s Halloween celebration. Sarah-Jane Redmond (Lucy Butler) is probably one of my favorite characters on the show and her contribution includes a recording of a poem about “a malign entity that inhabits a room in a building and whispers to its living occupants.” Van Quattro (Willi Borgsen) tells the “haunting tale of a man filled with fear about the prospect of ghostly apparitions [...]

There’s a reason they’re called cult followings—and now the ultra-devoted fan base that is obsessed with Millennium is gaining momentum on a campaign to bring the Chris Carter supernatural show to the big screen. Millennium, which aired for three seasons on Fox from 1996-1999, centered on Frank Black (genre fave Lance Henriksen), an FBI profiler with the ability to see the world through the eyes of murderers, and has arguably influenced many a big-screen thriller since.
Mark Ducker, a staff member at www.tiwwa.info, the largest Millenium on-line community, tells Fango, “While we are very much in the early stages of our campaign, we’re already receiving many accolades. Our campaign was made front-page news on [co-executive producer and writer] Frank Spotnitz’s blog, and we have received messages of support and encouragement from Lance Henriksen and [recurring actress] Kristen Cloke. In addition, genre-film author John Kenneth Muir picked up our campaign...
