- Starting as an assistant film editor in 1968, Kerry soon found his feet as an editor of some acclaim. While editing was his main strength he set about changing the way people thought about editing films. He created a group of companies called "The Editing Machine Group" with his loyal and trusted friend David Jaeger. Between them the group became the premier post-production house in Australia by blending both film and video editing techniques. Kerry became the key motivator behind changing the way cameramen and producers looked at their daily rushes. He gradually moved his companies from the more expensive and slower film editing systems to what is now non-linear digital editing. Kerry started producing documentary series and finally in 1999 after 32 years in the industry he decided to semi-retire on the Gold Coast.- IMDb Mini Biography By: Malcolm Smith
