- Scott Rice is an award-winning filmmaker and commercial director whose clients include Shell, Subway, MasterCard and Sears. His narrative work holds a staggering film festival record of 300 Official Selections and 85 Awards. Comedy Central, Hulu, Showtime, Blockbuster and PBS have distributed his films. He has also directed projects for A&E, MTV Networks and Sony Pictures. Rice is known for co-teaching a film course at the University of Texas with Matthew McConaughey. Most recently he won an Emmy for the PBS series Stories of the Mind about mental health in America. Rice began his career as an art director for Activision. He scripted the hit game Soldier of Fortune and has since written on assignment for Elizabeth Avellán among others.
