James McAvoy (Split) dives back into the horror genre with Speak No Evil, Blumhouse’s English language remake of the critically acclaimed 2022 Danish film Gæsterne. The two-minute trailer shows a married couple immediately regretting their decision to visit old friends while on vacation.
The cast includes Mackenzie Davis (Terminator: Dark Fate) and SAG award-winner Scoot McNairy (Argo) as Louise and Ben Dalton, the couple who chose the wrong place to spend their vacation. Alix West Lefler (The Good Nurse) plays their 11-year-old daughter, Agnes. Aisling Franciosi (Game of Thrones) stars as Paddy’s (McAvoy) wife, Ciara, and newcomer Dan Hough plays their mute son, Ant.
“When an American family is invited to spend the weekend at the idyllic country estate of a charming British family they befriended on vacation, what begins as a dream holiday soon warps into a snarled psychological nightmare,” reads Blumhouse’s synopsis.

Exclusive: For nearly 15 years, director Ramin Bahrani and novelist Aravind Adiga shared a symbiotic relationship of inspiration that culminated into Netflix’s rags-to-riches drama The White Tiger.
Bahrani’s 2005 feature Man Push Cart inspired Adiga, a former Columbia University classmate, to write The White Tiger, a searing novel about one man’s determination to rise through the ranks of India’s caste system. Upon reading Adiga’s early drafts before White Tiger published in 2008, Bahrani knew he had to adapt it for the big screen.
“I had been reading the novel in draft form for four years before it was published. I was immediately riveted,” Bahrani said during the film’s panel for Deadline’s Contenders Film.
The White Tiger follows low-caste Balram (Adarsh Gourav) as he strives for upward mobility amid India and China’s growth as global superpowers. Hired to chauffeur affluent Americanized entrepreneur Ashok (Rajkumma Rao) and...

We’ve just been sent the press release and the first official image of Naomi Watts playing Princess Diana which seems to have changed its name from Caught in Flight to now simply ‘Diana‘ which seems to make a lot more sense.
Diana is a compelling portrait of Diana, Princess of Wales during the final two years of her life. It charts how finding true personal happiness allowed her to achieve her defining successes, as she evolved into a major international campaigner and humanitarian.Check out the image below and press release below that. Portrait of a Princess is directed by Oliver Hirschbiegel who also directed Downfall and is based on a screenplay by Stephen Jeffreys. Joining Naomi Watts will be fellow Brits Naveen Andrews as Dr Hasnat Khan, Douglas Hodge and Juliet Stevenson.
This fab new photo was taken by Laurie Sparham and the look of Watts is rather uncanny.

Two crawlers lounge idly on a sofa wrapped in matching dressing gowns. One glances at a newspaper while the other sits lost in thought. Fear not readers, Mike Leigh is not here directing The Descent 2 as some kind of kitchen sink drama centred around a family of crawlers, I've merely stumbled across the crawler workshop where the pair are waiting to be called onto set - but it's a surreal sight nonetheless.

For those of you that haven’t seen the original (and where have you been hiding?), The Descent followed a group of six female adrenaline-junkies who go spelunking – that’s caving to you and me - and end up in a whole world of trouble when they fall foul of a bunch of naked ghouls,...
