- While studying at NYU, Peter competed on the diving team. At that time, he was approached to join the circus as an acrobat. Peter accepted the offer, running off to work in the circus during school breaks, mostly on the flying trapeze. A lover of film, but with no desire to be an actor, Peter eventually broke into the film business as a stuntman. Seeking greater artistic fulfillment, he is now focusing his energy and talent on pursuing a career as a screenwriter and director.
Peter's directorial debut, the short film Widowmaker, which he co-wrote with Chel Hamilton, was the winner of the 2005 Melbourne Independent Filmmakers Festival Crystal Apple "Filmmakers' Choice" Award.

- One of his specialties is fire stunts.
- An avid motorcyclist, Peter can often be seen at the Rock Store with fellow biker Francesco Quinn, for whom he has stunt doubled for many years.
- His first passion has always been auto racing. He began racing cars while in college and throughout the years has raced successfully throughout the US, Canada and France. He still races when time permits.
- His apartment in Los Angeles is in what is known as the "Good Luck" building, having been, in the past, home to Quentin Tarantino, John Travolta and George Clooney.
- Speaks Italian and French fluently, having lived in both countries.
