Exclusive: Gramy-winning singer Ciara and Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson have signed with CAA, which will rep the couple in film and television endeavors among other categories.
As part of the pact, the agency will also rep Ciara for music touring and commercials, and CAA-gbg Global Brand Management Group will take on Wilson’s lifestyle brand Good Man Brand.
Wilson, who guided the Seahawks to a Super Bowl win in 2013, also heads West2East, a brand management, creative content and production company that develops documentaries, TV and film properties. In August, it partnered with Bunim/Murray Productions to develop and produce unscripted programming.
As part of that tie-up, Wilson is executive producing a U.S. version of a Banijay Group celebrity adventure format L’aventure Robinson, which features two celebrities stranded on a desert island for five days.
Ciara, who has sold more than 23 million records worldwide, is also repped by Img Models.

Though George Miller‘s “Justice League Mortal” was scrapped years ago, photographer Mark Rogers just released a new photo of actress Megan Gale as Wonder Woman on Friday. The image shows Gale in costume as the Amazonian hero, complete with a blue skirt, corset and gold cuffs. The photo came the same day actress Gal Gadot shared the first official photo from Warner Bros.’ “Wonder Woman,” which is slated for a 2017 release. Though her version of Wonder Woman never made it to the big screen due to the 2007-08 Writers’ Guild of America strike, Gale eventually went on to work with Miller.

It will only take 75 years for Wonder Woman get her debut on the silver screen. In 2016, Gal Gadot will star(?) alongside Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill in “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.” But before Zack Snyder, before “Man of Steel,” and before interconnected cinematic universes…there was George Miller. Back in 2007, the “Mad Max” director was at on time on track to deliver DC’s superheroes in “Justice League Mortals” in 2009. However, production was crippled by the Writer’s Strike and the project never recovered. Miller moved on to “Fury Road” and the rest is cinematic history. Had it come to passed, “Justice League Mortals” would’ve starred Armie Hammer (Batman), D.J. Cotrona (Superman), Common (Green Lantern), Adam Brody (Flash), Santiago Cabrera (Aquaman), Hugh Keays-Byrne (Martian Manhunter), Jay Baruchel (Maxwell Lord), and Megan Gale (Wonder Woman). If you recognize Wonder Woman’s actress, it’s because she recently turned...

With the "Wonder Woman" solo movie having begun production, an earlier and ultimately discarded incarnation of the character has seen the light of day today.
Photographer Mark Rogers has used his social media accounts to share a couple of shots of supermodel Megan Gale in costume as Wonder Woman in George Miller's cancelled "Justice League Mortal" project from back in 2007 & 2008.
The look certainly differs from that Gal Gadot is seen sporting in next year's "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice". Boasting a brighter blue cloth skirt, more accurate headpiece and quite different leather corset - it's a distinctly different take.
Gale, who also starred in this year's "Mad Max: Fury Road" as the Valkyrie, was to star in the film alongside Armie Hammer as Batman, D.J. Cotrona as Superman, Adam Brody as the Flash, Common as the Green Lantern, Jay Baruchel as Maxwell Lord, Santiago Cabrera as Aquaman, Hugh Keays-Byrne as Martian Manhunter,...

"Justice League: Mortal" is a name many fans may have heard but know it has slowly faded into obscurity. It used to be the title for a film based on the iconic and powerful comic book super team, but it died before it could walk, and never allowed anyone to see the vision George Miller had for a comic book film. But, it has recently resurfaced, with a new documentary based on the film being a hot topic of discussion for fans everywhere.
Because of this documentary we've been given glimpses of what Martian Manhunter, Aquaman, and Superman almost looked like in the film, and now, we've also gotten an official image of Megan Gale fully suited up in the costume she would've worn when she played Wonder Woman. Now as you look at the suit you'll see it is very different than the costume we will get for...

Before he reinvented Mad Max for a new generation with Fury Road, director George Miller was planning on bringing DC’s finest to the big screen for the first time with the now defunct Justice League: Mortal. Various events such as production location issues and the writer’s strike ultimately derailed the project, but not before Miller and his team were fairly deep into the thick of it.
The cast would have included the likes of Armie Hammer (The Lone Ranger) as Batman, Adam Brody (The O.C.) as The Flash, D.J. Cotrona (G.I. Joe: Retaliation) as Superman and Megan Gale (Mad Max: Fury Road) as Wonder Woman, and most of them actually got to see themselves in costume as their characters – though we never have, until now.

Production is set to begin next month in Texas on Lian Lunson’s Waiting For The Miracle To Come starring Willie Nelson, Charlotte Rampling and newcomer Sophie Lowe.
Lunson’s (pictured) Horse Pictures produces alongside Molly Mayeux, Terence Berry and Fabrica de Cine head Gaston Pavlovich, while Cave Pictures’ Dale Brown and Mark Rodgers serve as executive producers with Matthew Malek, Wim Wenders and Bono.
Fabrica de Cine recently boarded Martin Scorsese’s passion project Silence, which is currently shooting.
Waiting For The Miracle To Come will shoot at Nelson’s private ranch, Luck, and tells of a young woman whose quest for gold takes her on a journey more rewarding than she ever imagined.
“I wrote this script for Willie Nelson — his presence and stillness as an actor is unlike anyone else,” said Lunson, who wrote the screenplay and makes her feature directorial debut.
“And growing up I always wanted to be Charlotte Rampling, so bringing...

Having returned from the Moorish and Amazonian horrors to enter the multiplex – the home of the celluloid dream that has dispatched many a willing viewer to their homes to be terrified by creaking floorboards, so this week we find ourselves returning home.
In part four of our FrightFest special feature ‘Unwanted Guests’, HeyUGuys interrogated director Ate de Jong and producer Elisar Cabrera about contributing an invasive descent into human nature – spiralling into the depths of repression and emotional and physical abuse for their independent home invasion drama Deadly Virtues.
What does it mean to have played at FILM4 Frightfest?
Elisar Cabrera: Well as a Londoner it is quite thrilling, and although I have been to FrightFest before as a sales agent and I have represented films here, this is my first time as a producer.
Ate de Jong: It is actually a very strange experience. I’ve lived in London for fourteen years,...

Deadly Virtues is a lean beast of a film, and whilst it lacks the visual flair of The Guest or the high suspense of White Settlers, what it contributed to this year’s FILM4 FrightFest home invasion trilogy was an invasive descent into human nature – spiralling into the depths of repression and emotional and physical abuse.
A seemingly simple tale on the surface of one woman forced to play the role of the dutiful and loving wife for the weekend whilst hubby is left maimed and tied up in the bathtub; Deadly Virtues starts out as a run of the mill home invasion film. The tension initially stems from the fear of a nasty little low budget number, although it soon becomes apparent that this is not the path writer Mark Rogers and director Ate de Jong intend to lead us down.
The drama becomes an emotional rollercoaster that touches...
